Wow, I am definitely a child of the nineties- this is the Billy Joel album I remember growing up on- this is one of the albums that made me want to be a songwriter. I remember my mom wearing this tape out in our old van- now I have my own van and I travel around playing music- isn't life funny that way? Glad I could find this stuff here- awesome! And thanks everyone posting on this page for keeping it posi. I hate that youtube is often used as a place for people to get angry with each other.

I would recommend the live album "Songs in the Attic" if you want a good taste of his rock stuff. It's a collection of live songs and about half are singer-songwriter, but his band is great and Dave Brown and Russell rock out on more than a few of the songs. "Glass Houses" is pretty much a straight rock album from him, though poppy.
