I was an armed security officer for a year, I know a little bit about citizen arrests..In my opinion he should have shown the cop that was there the arrest paperwork and asked him for help to arrest the guy. If the citizen's arrest was legitimate then why did the elderly gentleman end up being the one who was arrested? If his affidavit of criminal complaint was true to the letter of the law (district attorney's office or otherwise), he should have been accompanied by lawmen to take the person of interest into custody. It appears he tried to take matters into his own hands and it back fired.

If his affidavit of criminal complaint was true to the letter of the law (district attorney's office or otherwise), he should have been accompanied by lawmen to take the person of interest into custody. @nathan37354 Prove it. Since it is such public knowledge, you should have no problem posting a simple link to where citizens may view a copy. I'll even take off my tinfoil hat to read it. The problem is that you can't prove it, because no such publicly viewable record has been shown.....EVER. It's easy to spout off bullshit that has no basis in public record, but backing it up is another thing.... Myself and the rest of the "Tinfoil Army" eagerly await a simple explanation.

You'd get a lot further than supporting clownish confrontational tactics such as this.
