  • Just came across this randomly and its a very good song my friends :D keep it up! and look forward to more ^^

  • this band is just awesome, shame that i discover them just now.

  • Even if the whole song is great, the bridge at 1:40 is fantastic!

  • If you want to here new music tune into Radio 2. Always guarenteed to spring something great. That is where I first heard this. Shame Maconie and Radcliffe have migrated to 6 music

  • cross between the beatles and stone temple pilots (no. 4)

  • I've never watched a single Bieber video in my life. How does he have so many views?

  • Its so hard to discover new GOOD music these days in the cesspool they call the internet. This is cool good music, I heard it on the radio.

  • VIEWS DONT MEAN THEY LIKE IT

  • my favorite part: 1:26 - 1:27

  • Brilliant, fresh, smart pop. Thank goodness.

  • Insanely catchy tune - these boys have some mad talent! They're quickly becoming a phavorite of the this Power Pop Anglophile.

  • There are too much indie bands that suck. This band is great, but I think it has not enough glamour in it to become popular, since most people don't prefer to dig for their music. Sad, but alright at least I found it ;)

  • saw these guys in kansas city on the 1st. it was a spiritual experience to see these guys work live and they were super nice people as well. They should be millionaires.

  • If only more pop music coul be this musical and intelligent at the same time! Please people, more of thi kind of stuff. There's not a weak piece on this 20 cut cd and at least 15 of them are brilliant.

  • The Beatles?

  • Just saw that Justin Bieber's vid had 285 million views. 285 MILLION. This awesome song has 52 thousand. Therefore Bieber's song is 57 billion times better than this one...What a sad sad refection on society.

  • @wilkesfalcon its also the millions of little girls who listen and watch the video like 100 times an hour if not 500 times a day

  • @Jpeezyiation Ha, yep, that'd be about right. Mores the pity huh

  • @wilkesfalcon The only difference between Field Music and the crap that rules the charts is:

Field Music don't have the corporate media, the corporate label and the corporate budget to force their songs on the mass populace. I just ignore the crap and enjoy acts like Field Music, St Vincent, Gogol Bordello, Fleet Foxes, Divine Comedy, Kula Shaker and the grand slew of bands signed to Andy Partridge, ex of XTC's Ape House label. I also have a radio show to support talent that needs to be heard.

  • @wilkesfalcon Your hyperbole doesn't make any sense mathematically. How id 52 grand 57 BILLION times smaller than 285 million???

  • @MrAClawson It was an intentional overstatement o' Bieber sheep. Your simple Bieberfied mind is obviously not accustomed to subtle irony.

PS for one so focussed on detail your grammar is terrible.

  • @wilkesfalcon I understood the irony, hence "hyperbole". It just seemed a bit too extreme of an exaggeration.

I didn't mean to stir you so badly. Sheesh

  • @wilkesfalcon Your math is horribly flawed. 285,000,000 / 52,000 = 5,481 rounded to the ones place.

  • @BitchesLoveHardstyle At least that dude isn't arguing with a robot.

  • @TheLifePerfect IT'S A MACHINE!???!!

  • @BitchesLoveHardstyle Most of the internet is machines, true story.

  • @wilkesfalcon and its focus on maths

  • The good will out, eventually. Hopefully.

  • OMG!!!! i'm so happy to have found out that they're still making music. I was sooo disappointed when I heard they were taking a break a couple of years ago! Woohoo.

  • Good music, british music will never die!

  • Whats the best way to find mp3iffy to download this mp3? Someone told me to google mp3iffy.

  • @NathanielAndrew100 Video2mp3 works, I use it, but I only download the songs of big bands cos I know they can afford it...

  • It's time to realize that Britpop is timeless...

  • Love the instrumentation. Seeing them in Exeter soon. Interesting to say the least!

  • love the movement between the speakers... dada duuun

  • Great song.

  • Lovely song, great video.

  • joyous song - combination of electric and acoustic guitar works well - and the handclaps are cool. Melody might have come from Paul McC - and that is meant as a compliment

  • i like this song and video

  • @Kkidzz - Good call!

@Frankiepie235 - wee judgmental, are we?

  • They take all their influences & mash them up to make someting original. It's sounds new & familiar at the same time. They've never made a bad song. Keep it up lads. I'm looking forward to the follow up to Measure already.

  • Great band, great song and never a true word spoken!!

  • love it.

  • tasty tunes

  • This is wonderful.. rather wondeful.. Nice seeing the lads in rpm the other saturday..

  • They've been playing this on 6music for about a month now - really nice song. Got a bit of Crowded House about it (which can't be bad). Hope to see them in Sheffield on Sunday.

  • @taffboyslim I hear XTC ,more than crowded house

  • am I the only one hearing early Genesis in this (great btw.) song?

  • @acrpeter

    No, you're not. :-)

  • Stew recipe:

    10CC(Godley &Creme leanings)

    Camel

    Genesis(circa 'Trick Of the Tale')

    XTC(circa 'English Settlement')

    Flash In the Pan

    ......stir riffingly

  • great BRITISH BAND playing good old British pop/rock almost urban-folk music; just a pity not many people appreciate their musicianship and sharp lyrics...another fine album from a long line of great albums from Field Music.

  • Sounds like Gerry Rafferty. Hes disappeared you know.

  • Nice to see a video celebrating suburban Britain too. Its beautiful in a grotty sort of way. Brits dont realise their island is like Avalon to most of the world.

  • great song !!

  • Saw this video last night, love the track <3

  • Totally Awesome!! Heard them on Triple J here in Ohio on the net. Reminds me of the late 70's early 80's bands. Long live old school alternative!!!
