i have been told that DBS does not help for 2ndary dystonia and also been told go ahead and get it done by diff. neurologists. i choose to do the baclofen pump which does not help w pain but scrambles the brain signals saying hey twitch around! i have to up the dose when it gets bad but i just wasn't ready for DBS- not yet.

I care for someone with parkinsons and she kicks her legs and shakes for hours and hours. Her contractions are very bad. Is it normal for her legs to kick? I have taken care of other people with pd and have never seen anything like this.
