In this video starting at 3:39, she is next to Deborah Jenssen who was listed as an inch taller then Helene and yet Helene seems taller. She really knew how to extend her body and she was very slender back then. Even now the woman takes wicked good care of her body. She's still a total hotty too!! Just saw a video of her about 3 weeks ago in her dance class and she still moves like a cat! Just an amazing and beautiful woman!

It still never ceases to amaze me on the routine starting at 5:40 how dynamic and flawlessly executed Helene's routine was on this, all the while standing what couldn't be more than a foot maybe a foot and a half away at times from the column prop to her right.. She could just as easily have hit her pretty little head or hand against it but yet there she was completely unflappable, dancing up a storm. That's my Angel Face!

Need another "Phillips56" fill-up today! Did notice something funny that I didn't in all the previous viewings though. It looks like "Doll Face" was trying to hide her attempt to remove gum from her mouth at 6:52 of the Donna Summer song "The Wanderer". In which case she did a good job since this is the first time I noticed it. Maybe she wasn't but it sure looks like it. You be the judge. Yeah...She's even cute in her faux pas!
I don't think she was trying to get rid of gum, but more like trying not to slip through Alex's arms. Looked more like an involuntary motion from feeling like she was slipping.

Sorry, but my video collection from seasons 1 & 2 is very limited and this was the best of what I have in my collection. If and when I get new material from those seasons I will keep that in mind when I am thinking of new videos to make.

Had to stop by to get my Helene fix again. The 1st Gino Vanelli clip starting at 5:07 to the song "Living inside myself" is how I best remember her on the show. Between the thick beautiful flowing curly blonde locks, those amazing eyes, the doll face and her graceful dancing skill, I can see why she had such a large fan following and why I had such a crush on the girl. Helene, if you read this, you are the bomb!...Stevie Wonder's song "That Girl" comes to mind.....

Well the 2 to 3 inch heels they wore and the fact that the guys wore flats made the girls seem taller at about 5'8" with the guys at 5'10" to 6'0". That would make them look like very tall women (or make the guys look particularly short?)
Thanks so much for this upload!!! Helene was a great dancer along w/ Deborah and Pam in the first 2 seasons. I can see why after she left in 1982, it wasn't easy finding a stable replacement considering the string of dancers that came and left. Helene also appeared as a dancer in the movie " Stayin Alive" as well. Thanks so much my friend, will look forward to Paula Beyers upload soon!!!
