This is very sad D: even a game... It seems real, it is cruel u_u With the beautiful and good girl who was killed and... I think anyone understands what he has lived with Jenny, what I felt for her... And if someone would end the life of the person you love so much, I'd do the same as Jackie >.< T_T

I find it odd that Jackie is unable to fight the darkness off to keep Jenny from dying, but when Jackie decides to end his own life, the darkness is unable to stop him.

Why is everyone saying how they wanted to kill Paulie after this scene? I mean, I did too, but even more so, I wanted to drive that fucking horrid demon Darkness right back to Hell where it belongs! I was quite angry that I didn't get to do that.
The reason this scene got to me so much was not just the incredibly deep investment in the characters that developed over just a few minutes, but because I could completely identify with both of them. I'm a girl, Jenny's age, she reminded me of myself far too much for comfort. In the moments up to where she dies, I was her; I would have said those things, I WAS saying those things. The moment she died, I became Jackie. My first thought was to find the gun, and end it. He did. Amazing game.

Why is everyone saying how they wanted to kill Paulie after this scene? I mean, I did too, but even more so, I wanted to drive that fucking horrid demon Darkness right back to Hell where it belongs! I was quite angry that I didn't get to do that.

Paulie is just your classic mafia villain and the darkness is your not-so-classic demon entity that has it's own agenda.
If you read the comics, Jackie is far from a saint as well. But you will still like him.

The reason this scene got to me so much was not just the incredibly deep investment in the characters that developed over just a few minutes, but because I could completely identify with both of them. I'm a girl, Jenny's age, she reminded me of myself far too much for comfort. In the moments up to where she dies, I was her; I would have said those things, I WAS saying those things. The moment she died, I became Jackie. My first thought was to find the gun, and end it. He did. Amazing game.

To see Paulie squirm and beg for mercy at the end was somewhat peaceful, for taking everything that jackie had ever loved, and the darkness would eventually consume him anyway
