@eligeti89 The format perhaps is a bit quick for some folks, plus many enjoy seeing folks cook. However, I wanted something a bit quicker as some of us are short on time. Yes, you can squeeze in quite a few in a few minutes. cheers from KtC!
@kimie126 No not really. A few similar ingredients but Bolognese tends to not have much tomato in it. Plus the seasoning makes it quite different actually. There is an idea for a vid. though. A nice Bolognese. mmmm
You have to try chili. This is a Cincinnati version and also not the same a s a typical Texas chili. Yep see the other video. Thank you and cheers, KtC
@TheKenAlanShow I just read you comment for this now. I miss a few at times. Yes, the chocolate and cinnamon are the key to this one. I made a few calls for this one and received a few recipes that were pretty much the same. My old culinary teacher fined tuned it for me for this version. Thanks mate, cheers! KtC
I live in Cincinnati and your using the wrong cheese its chedder extra sharp i do believe an pile it high add orster crackers an hot sauce an your there!!!
@JD5133 I dislike the crakers, so there isn't any. This is old cheddar (sharp). Just not the orange food colouring type (I try to avoid it). cheers, KtC
Unsweetened chocolate in chili??? I can imagine this should give a richer taste but never thought of adding chocolate. Life is full of learning. Thank you so much!
@Tamar1973 Hi Tammy! I had not prepared it myself in quite awhile. One of those recipes you are reminded of and say "I have to make that soon". I am happy I did and will not wait too long next time. Have a great day! KtC
We used to have a deli here that served this, traditional, classic, and homemade. I had more than my share of 5 ways for lunch. They closed several years ago, and I've never been able to duplicate the smooth taste of it. It's an odd combination of spices (like unsweetened chocolate?), and you can bet I'm gonna try it.
@Jordcuk Dark bitter (raw unprocessed usually) is not uncommon in many foods. The creator probably wanted that type but could only get the 'milk chocolate' variety. Obviously too sweet, opted for the unsweeten baking type. It appeared to work as the food is quite tasty and certainly popular.
I use about a tbsp. of dark cocoa in my typical chili (see my 'slowcooker meat chili' video). Not unusual at all for Mexican type foods.
Of all the channels I think I most enjoy yours. I even tell people your recipes now, so you can tell I'm hooked! --Dad and I discussed how weird northerners are using chili as a spaghetti sauce. --He thinks the chocolate powder and wine are nuts, but I think I'll do it up and see if he keeps that opinion. Thanks! =D
@mallardhead Certainly worth trying. All those Cininnati folks cann't be wrong. Very tasty.
Chocolate (bitter, unsweetened) is very popular. It is actually a Latin American thing. Also found in many Mexican authentic dishes. Works great with beef. Just a bit though. Thanks mate. cheers, KtC
Ahh yes I love me some 4-way spaghetti chili as well. The raw onions and the cheese work really well with the rest of the ingredients. Thanks for making this =]
2 problems: 1. way too many onions, I hate em 2. I don't believe for a second that was cheddar cheese at the end. Aside from that it sounds delicious.
@chaos741 Don't add the onions. Go 'Three-Way'. I see you are use to the coloured orange cheddar cheese popular in the U.S. Although I have used it many times it will kill you. Food colouring? yuk! This is old cheddar (white, as it should be).
@psychodelicdragon No I always use the chocolate. It certainly isn't very much. I was going to use raw cocoa (Jamaican Cocoa Balls) but most agreed it should be the milk chocolate (unsweetened). Chocolate and beef is not new. I put cocoa in my regular chili too! KtC
KtC I don't eat beef (gave it up pretty recently) but that looks really delicious. I'm wondering, what does it taste like? It looks sort of chili-esque, but that might just be my naivete... Plus the chocolate really intrigues me. Is there any way to describe the flavor?
@theconmann9 It does not taste like typical chili although I certainly put a bit of cocoa in my typical chili (not that unusual actually). I have never tried it with other meat such as chicken. There is a veggie version but well, I like meat :) cheers, KtC
@kkliper The videos take time and plus I also have my own wish list. It would have been a bit earlier but the last series was more summer BBQ themed. So it got bounced to now. Enjoy! KtC
Had that at Skyline in Cincinnati with extra extra cheese.... that cheese thing with me is that Wisconsin Heritage i can't shake....LOL Good job My MAN....
@chris7toronto Thanks for the tip. I'm sure I will get a few. Some add more beef stock or less paste for more the chili colour. I have seen and enjoyed both. cheers! KtC
@Texa41 It isn't really that spicy although my chili powder is spicy though. Some add hot sauce or cayenne but I did not because of my powder. Very tasty and quite different than your Texas variety. cheers! KtC
you should be having like a million views by now!! You videos last about a minute!! Soooo cool to take breaks while studying ! :D

I think it's so funny...Sometimes when we go on vacation to other states people think putting chili on spaghetti is crazy!
