  • What's that? No nav system in this version? I'm surprised he didn't shit his pants, what else would he have to pick on his entire review?

  • Three years later, and this new Z still hasn't grown on me. I'm sure it's fun to drive, but it just doesn't look quite right to me. I'm curious to see what they change for the 2013 model year.

  • does this have turbo

  • @lilmorris656 No Turbos.

  • you suck. this guy needs job performance review or something. YOU ALWAYS give negative reviews about every car. I dont know what car is good from your dumb reviews

  • "YUKKK" LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • does it even have a backseat at all??

  • @wweuniversewwe no.. no Z has ever had a back seat..

  • @wweuniversewwe No, it's only a 2 seater.

  • looks like youre having some problem with head space there. im 6'4, would i fit in there?

  • Looks like a toy.

  • @USA4July1776 it kind of is..

  • Way to go on not having a SINGLE sound of the engine/exhaust in the whole video.

Lame reviewer doing a great job of a lame review.

  • nissan needs to put in a bigger engine. how about a 500z?

  • @heresteven no they have the 3.7 liter, because then it would be to close to preforming to the GTR they want to keep it more an everyday car, not like the GTR isnt, but they want to keep it less powerful and keep good handling, keep it classic RWD

  • @heresteven how about not.. mpg is important these days!!

  • one of the best cars for the price shit nissan is steppin up their game with the fairlady and the gtr

  • To those that don't know because he didn't explain. Rev matching is important for downshifts while braking into a corner. The normal way would be the heel-toe technique, you keep your toes on the brake and use your heel to match the revs with your gas pedal. Takes some talent and pratice to perform, this makes it much easier though. Should be standart on all manual sports cars but i fear nissan has the patent for it.

  • Yet another 1.5 ton so called sports car.. I honestly prefer my old 350Z to drive even though it wieghed the same.

  • His head seems pressing the roof all the time

  • at 0:40 the speedo was showing that he was going at 40 mph and he wasn't moving.?? weird...

  • cargo bin is retarded lol and that gas gauge is so gay lol.

  • why pay 50G for a 5 second to 60 car when you can pay 25 for a 5.1 mustang doesnt make much sense to me, however looks good

  • @poskyflyer it does not costs 50 Grand

  • @elbacatran12 look again moron a base one will run you over 50 after taxes and everything good luck buying a new one for under 50

  • @poskyflyer look dumb ass the base model is only 30G and i don't think they'll charge you 20G on taxes and shit..so STFU!!

  • @elbacatran12 go to nissan.ca and try to build one hmm would appear it starts at 40G eh your a fucking pushover

  • @poskyflyer why the hell should i build one if i can buy a new one for only 30 grand

get your facts right you dumb fuck..

  • @elbacatran12 you build one on the website you moron to get accurate pricing wow your a fucking moron and they cost 40 to start your a fucking moron

  • Comment removed

  • @elbacatran12 ill remember that when me and my friend are racing my camaro against his mustang both cars run faster to 60, are way better than this peice of jap crap... asshole

  • @poskyflyer thats bs i bet you drive your mamas prius..and mustangs use Huge engines like V8s and still only get less Hp than the 370z...for example the 2010 mustang gt has a 4.6 engine and only has 304 HP..and does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds..so..Go eat shit asshole..Fail..Fail...Fail..

  • @elbacatran12 bro im 23 and am on a military salary i have a 2010 camaro ss supercharged by hennesey, the mustang was 315 and thats because and it does 0-60 in 5.0/4.9... release your dads dick from your hand and finish school k kid?

  • @poskyflyer wow you think im gonna believe that bullshit..and if you have that car why don't you make a vid to prove it?? your such a little shit face mother fucker..

  • @poskyflyer and you keep on bullshitting..wow..No life..faggot

  • @elbacatran12 having fun? your a tool

  • I'm entertained by the way he speaks. He sure gave that "zeeeeeee" from "Nee-saw-un" a great review.

  • in Australia everything is standard even the synchrorev match is standard in AT.

  • omg the inside of this car looks so relaxing cant wait to get my 370z on February next yr ^.^

  • this guy sucks at car reviews. he should jump off a bridge. or shoot himself.

  • The rev-matching system is sooooo stupid. If you don't know how to rev-match you shouldn't be in a sports car to begin with.

  • @CasterTown its easier for drifting..thats why its there you dumbass

  • @sexyboi142

Its easier for retarded drivers is what you mean. Its definitely not for drifting. How could auto-revmatching possibly be better than rev-matching yourself when drifting? Don't be a keyboard driver.

  • @CasterTown when you drift you dont have time to slow completly down for drifting! nissan even said thats what the tech was for!!! you should take ur own fuckin advice

  • @sexyboi142

That doesn't even make sense. What do you you think heel-toe is for? I'm not trying to be mean but you are the definition of a keyboard racer.

  • @CasterTown yea sure dude whatever, im just going off of what nissan said

  • @CasterTown i dont know that much about cars, but im buying the gy 370z and on the website it mentions drifting

  • @CasterTown thats so they can sell sports cars to a wider market like buisness men and such

  • not sure how useful the rev match is? this guy is a joke

  • Name of color- "Blue Man Group Blue" XD

  • is it even bearable to purchase this one in automatic?

  • @staballemo well its a 7 speed paddle shift so its gotta be somewhat fun but i personally would rather have the manual tranny.

  • @staballemo lol!!! I shoot a bazooka at anyone thats got an automatic XD

  • @yumyumluckycharms lol! of course, of course. but since everyone is screaming about the rev match system... manual must be the way to go.

  • I like that color!

  • this dude's lame. i don't think he REALLY knows anything about cars. all he talks about is stuff other journalists write about. i doubt this loser knows his car shit.

  • @Descartes619 He doesn't actually review the cars themselves, he reviews the technology in them.

  • Well I mean if when you are 30+ you can't get a manual going then you should either 1. Jump of a building, 2. Buy a Manual,

  • @PreviewHD Automatic*

  • My parents have a BMW 750i and I have a BMW 650i and my brother has a 2010 370z and honestly, I believe his 370z is better than my BMW 650i .... BECAUSE, it feels like there is more speed in the 370z than in my BMW and it feels sportier in the 370z more as well ...

  • @NewYorkCityBoy123 I want to be your parents kids lol wtf

  • this fuker does the worst reviews...

  • I would buy that but....I cry when I see how much is the fuel consumption.....

  • its a sports car, if your worried about fuel, dont look buy one. People need to understand these cars are not to make you look good, but to race.

  • Well, not even the fuel....but it sounds like a truck...too loud.

There are many sports car...like audi TT, u can barely hear the sound at 300 km/h or the RS.

So in the end I'm not so worried about fuel as I'm worried about the big noisy sound....do a test drive...with the bose sistem...u can't even hear the music...

  • then you must not be a car guy, because people who buy these for a purpose WANT them louder. When I bought my 2007 Mustang GT people complained about the stock exhaust, but it was to low for me. Now when i turn it on in the morning I wake up all the neighboorhood dogs and they start to bark.

Do you just want this car to make you look cool? or are you going to drive it like its meant to be driven? Because then your better off with a nice slow BMW that looks good but is good on gas.

  • Just a car that goes fast and sounds decent...

Audi TT is the best choice for me :)

Not really want to go slow...well it's all about taste xD

    BMW's are ugly :/

  • @DarkHour404 um... but fuel consumption tells a lot about a car though. If your car goes fast while using lesser fuel that means the engine works more efficiently which means a single explosion draws out more power before the fuel blows out which means the engine can work less while producing more power and that means the engine can take more abuse which means the drivetrain wouldn't have to work as hard. By the way you wouldn't drive an ugly car that goes fast would you?

  • I never said anything about fuel consumption and how it reacts to a cars engine. I said, if your worried about fuel consumption in GENERAL for "saving gas" not "keeping the engine in good condition". Then a sports car is not for you, these cars are not meant to be driven daily, my dad has a 5.4L V8 GT500 mustang that gets about 12mpg in city, and my mustang GT gets about 15 with a 4.6L V8. But I buy gas once every month, since I dont ride it much.

  • @DarkHour404 mmm GT500 very juicy ~ um... i guess so, but wouldn't you imagine the Z and the Infinity G to car to be an everyday car though? Ya sure lots of people mod it... but most of them are just for everyday drive.

  • well sure go ahead, I just dont like having a nice looking car with a lot of miles on it. I currently had my 2007 mustang for 4 years and put about 25,000 miles on it. Most people by now would have 50-60,000 miles from everyday driving. So If I want to sell it or trade it in I can for double the price.

I just simply buy another cheap $5-8,000 truck to drive to work and school and I only take my mustang out on sunny days when Im off.

But its your car, do as you like.

  • @DarkHour404 lol weekend car. I want one too now

  • That's a cool color for the 370z. They screwed up the front lights. Looks lopsided.

  • @DarkHour404

You guys in USA don´t have to worry about fuel prices. Come here to Germany and drive such a car and your poor in a few month. I drive a new Golf GTI with a 2.0 turbo motor (211 hp) and it´s expensive enough.

  • And that is exactly why Americans build Big V8 300-400HP+ engines that drink 1 full tank of gas in about 5-8 hours of driving. If I lived in Europe I would not buy a sporty car. I would just drive a japaneese 2L Honda civic.

But I am talking to the people who live in US and want to buy a sports car, because gas is cheap here, and if people are still worried about gas, then DONT buy a racing car.

  • @WolleWahnsinn ahh i love the gti with a passion

  • This guy must be very tall...He makes the car look tiny standing next to it!

  • how much? how can u do a review and not mention the price?

  • wtf....where is the description of the video??

  • Excellent review.

  • This is gorgeous. I must admit, I didn't like the styling of the 350Z, but I love the styling of the 370Z.

  • You clearly havent driven one, because the 350z is an amazing car. The interior to be quite honest is fairly high quality regardless of what the reviews say.

  • Look at the Lexus SC430 at 3:18

  • The comments from all the fanboys concerning the syn-rev button here are priceless. Yeah, EVERYBODY is an expert. Hey guys...do you all realize what fucking nerds you are? And what's it like living with skinny arms, legs, and necks? Fucking dickheads....that's what most of you all are.

  • love the car hate the guy.. doesnt even know what the sync rev is for??? dude read more before doing car reviews

  • @rcalvo23 No kidding, great overview but,...lack of heal-toe knowledge discredits much of the opinions. BTW have just been leaning to heal-toe in my own car and agree with some that i would rather do it myself for the same reason i would rather steer myself, its part of the reward of getting it right.

  • this guy is not a car guy. he gets into a sports car and worries about being comfortable and loves the training wheels in the shifting for the people who cant shift right. if you are having problems with shifting then dont get the car. real sports cars are not for everyone.

  • It's not a training wheel for people who can't shift right, it's for downshifting when you're too busy to rev match because your foot is on the brake.

  • if you make yourself too busy for shifting then maybe the person should get off the cell phone and latte and just drive instead of relying on some gimmick to downshift.

  • @amakadius75 But you have to admit that for the less skillfull people who still want a fun drive, the syncro-rev is pretty cool, and will let them have more fun, the same way launch control would.

  • i agree with the quick launch but as far as the syncro goes um i cannot agree on that one. if you cant drive the stick then leave it alone and stop trying to make ways to help pretend that you do. to me thats like having a old muscle car with a 4 cycl in it and still getting the same sound because you can not handle to power or like a chopper with training wheels. if you cant handle it then dont get it. or get it and learn how to. i do like the quick launch because its direct power though. :)

  • this car looks really small

  • the interior is cool, i dont like that front bumper

  • 0:53-Brian Cooley's funniest, "YE-UCH!!". This 370Z is a HUGE improvement over the 350Z, which I got quite tired of in recent times.

  • The syncro rev system also works with upshifts!

  • agreed with him on the interior but love how the exterior looks!!

  • scribd (dot) com/nb812

  • palebeachbum you just got all your weight in your ass , sports car seats are meant to hold you firmly , just stick to buying camrys if you want a more comfortable seat

  • Stupid reviewer does not know anything about sports cars. Syncro-Rev match is for racing. When going around a turn, you can use your foot to concentrate on braking instead of trying to match revs and brake at the same time with the same foot. This was not created for people who don't know how to operate a manual properly. This guy is stupid, so stupid that it makes me want to pull my hair out. Way to go for making us Americans look stupid. What a douche. What a douche bag.

  • haha yes agreed this is why people do not respect us because we tend to assume instead of thinking.

Heel toe shifting my brother =)

    good comment post

  • @da1pham these guys are not car enthusiasts...so don't get worked up. It's just for general info for average consumers. Some of the commentary is useful though. But I see where you're coming from.

  • What?!?! thats definitely 0 - 60 in 3.8 seconds!

  • that dude has no fucking clue haha i never saw a bad thing about the inside of and 0 to 60 in 4.5

  • i dont get the stick

  • The guy on this video doesn't really know what the rev matching is at all. The rev matching is probably one of the most advanced thing about this car or any modern sports car. The rev matching does what heal toe would do while down shifting into a corner. If you don't know what heel toe is it is simply reving your engine up while down shifting while braking into a corner hence the need to use both heel and toe at the same time with the left foot on the clutch and brake while bliping the throttle.

  • @carpenter751

It is obvious this guy is not a car guy.

  • i almost faint when i see that car

  • I've always been a fan of the Z cars. I got to sit behind the wheel of a 370z and I was really disappointed. Sure, it looks good, much better than the bathtub inspired 350z. It's fast, it handles great, and the interior looks sports car appropriate with good quality, but the seat was UNBEARABLY uncomfortable. I'm not big by any means at 5'9" 160lbs, but even my ass felt so tightly squeezed in the hard little seat. I couldn't drive the car for any length of time no matter how well it drives.

  • i love this guy's cnet reviews, lol its garbage wat he says but its quite entertaining lol

  • lol, i was gonna say the samethihng, love his reviews, entertaining. Omg we;re like sisters! omg!

    jks jks u wish

  • just test drove one this weekend, and it was a blast. i currently have a subaru sti but i love the way this car drives and the sync rev match was awesome! its not as powerful as the sti but that's not an issue. overall probably the best bang for the buck deal going on right now. i'll probably buy one before christmas!

  • But the STI only has 305hp where the 370z has 332hp. It probably doesn't sound like it isn't as powerful because of the exhaust system, or the intake or the mufflers but it is more powerful,Hope when you get yours you enjoy it. I'm getting one soon and i plan on changing most of the stuff out with better stuff

  • @demonicBerith take a look into the STILLEN true dual exhast, makes it sound like a tuned GT-R!

  • There would never be a reason for the s shift on up shifts

  • ca its amazing but that guy sucks at reviews you could tell he is just reading the brochure specs pshhh

  • I love the interior... does anyone know how good the handling is on this beast?

  • i jizz my pants everytime i see this car

  • this guy is the best reviewer on the internet, everybody else is very bland and monotone

  • i do not thing so. This test is about nothing. All these facts i can read on broucher from Nissan. I want to see some serious performance of what this car can do. Not this dude drivin one hand laied donw on the steering wheel. This test rally sucks. Maybe not for Americans, but here in Europe definitely

  • well see this car show is about car tech and alotta the things he says isn't on the brochure like how user friendly it is and he's supposed to focus mainly on the technology for the car no the performance....if you want performance reviews go watch top gear

  • yes, he is talking about how car is friendly. I still think that this i can find by myself on test ride in every showroom. But after 15 minutes long easy ride i will not have an idea about what performance is car like this able. So if i want to buy familly car, with no expectations about driving pleasure, this test is ok. But test like this about car which really is about it´s performace is crap. I don´t want to argue, just my opinion ;) Hope you get it

  • this guy is an idiot.

  • I think it is hilarious that he finds the Rev matching feature useless...... This guy must not do much track driving.

  • i just bought a 370z sport edition...dont have it yet tho...dealership is giving me until the weekend to strip the mods i made on my supercharged cobalt...so i should have it next week. Cant wait

  • so I bought a yellow 370 Z and under artificial lighting, it is different colors? the pieces above the windows and the gas tank are basically an orangy yellow? VERY noticable!!1

Has anyone else experienced this? I called Nissan an dthey said it was completely normal and weren't going to do shit about it...

But why should I pay that amount of money for a different color car?

  • I want that car but sadly the closest nissan I can buy is a 2003 nissan 350z so it'll do lol

  • My uncle just bought himself this car ^^

  • jeez, i hate the reviewer's personality

  • Really? I found the reviewer interesting with his character and voice. I guess it's a matter of taste.

  • I get podcasts of him on my ipod with all his reviews, he is not exactly a racing driver but he has very good reviews

  • My mom has a 1983 (or somethin like that) 300zx turbo....the Z's are really great cars.

  • Looks like he ran through a stop sing? lol

  • Cheex blows goats!

  • no GUNGUK ! LOL

  • YOU ARE SO TALL FOR THIS CAR BASTARD

  • I have a 2007 Z and i downshift a fair amount just because i love the sound of the HR Engine when i do so, but rev feature is pretty cool though...

  • dont you mean the VQ engine? HR is a 4cyl.

  • the HR is a high revving version of the VQ as well... its in the later versions of g35's and 350's

  • Cnet shouldn't do car reviews!!!^_^

  • i just don't like the back end.

  • Full package = 50K or more im guessing...

  • Dudes i dunno.. I'm normally a black car guy especially a sports car, but that blue is looking pretty nice!!!

  • Hell yeah blue is the best color for the 370z

  • Everybody, Drive a STICK SHIFT!

  • Not everybody needs a stick shift.

  • then how do you expect people to use their phones and other gadgets while shifting gears!?!?! lol

  • I dont understand the clutch downshidt thing. Can anyone describe to me what it is.

  • If you were to downshift without rev matching, the car will jerk a bit. It feels like someone quickly applied the brake for a split second when you do this. To get around this, all you really have to do is blip the throttle as you downshift. Nissan does it for you now because apparently that was too hard for people.

  • OooOoOoO. I know how to drive a stick so watever.

  • aparently not haha

  • A lot of people don't really downshift that often. And most of the ones that do just let the clutch slip into the downshift, and are comfortable having to replace a clutch more frequently rather than learn about how their cars work, and what's healthy for them.

I think it's an awesome feature, though... it's not always easy hitting the sweet spot (the perfect RPM) when heel-toe downshifting, but it sounds like the Z does it like butter.

  • Yeah, I know a lot of people don't downshift often, but I do. I enjoy the feeling of perfectly controlling the car with careful throttle modulation. However, I'll concede it probably is more efficient for faster heel-toe shifting. In casual downshifts, that's when I would prefer it wasn't on. I'm so used to doing it myself now, but it's probably one of those things that will mostly fade out, like double clutching synchro-less manual transmissions. You barely find them anymore except on trucks.

  • From just listening to how he described it, it's basically allows you to double clutch without having to match the RPM.

Double clutching allows for smoother transitions in between gears.

  • it removes the whole process of heel toeing

  • wrong, double clutching is an old school technique for transmissions that don't have synchros, which is what the 370Z and every other modern car with manual transmissions use.

The 370Z automatically blips the throttle to rev the engine enough on a downshift, so that when you release the clutch, you're not making the clutch do all the work to catch the engine's speed up to the transmission's speed.

  • Wow alienmode what an incredible douchebag you are.

  • after driving this car for a few years and going back to a normal many tranny..your not gonna be a very smooth driver..hahaha

  • i am a german car guy. Letme tell you, this car looks great, the performance is great, and the for the money, you cannot touch it. I would buy one, in that color to

  • Ya, for money I would say it is the best sports car. Better value than the Porsche boxster.

  • Synchro rev-match with upshift? This dude doesn't know what he's talking about. You already rev-match when you upshift. Dumb-ass !!

  • I didn't hear the exhaust note or the synchrorev once.

  • waaaaaaaaaaw this car a legend

  • Wtf since when did cnet start reviewing cars? XD

  • The interior from the 370z looks great. They did a great job on it.
