you shouldve bought a studio xps 16.. I just got mine for about $1500 and these are the specs:

8600 processor 2.4ghz duo

4gb RAM

500GB 7200 rpm hardrive

ATI 4650 Graphics, 1GB video

1920x1080 RBGLED HD screen

Bluray Disc Drive combo :)

i bought mine at a pawn shop still brand new in the box only paid 716 and the reciept said 2300 the guy who owen it last added alot of stuff when he bought it anyone think i made the wrong decision buying this laptop for gaming or it period? plz snd me message

xps 1530 laptop came to about 1500. and 76.

Just for comparison I was wondering what kind of frames you run at and also what processor you got. I also have the 1530 and I find I can't run WoW that well.

my xps is a

2.0ghz dual core

4gb ram

7400 rpm hard drive(not sure of the speed but its the faster one

256 mb video

I put all of the settings on high, but i turn the dynamic shadows down. If your having trouble, try boosting the settings besides the shadow setting. thats what i did and i could run on high settings

Nice... I would like to know what kind of video card you have set. If a 256 mb video card can handle this, well there is no reason to purchase a 512 mb video card.
