  • I live in Kentucky myself, but where you visited is big cities to me. My closest neighbor is Amish after all. lol

  • Hey that's great! I really enjoyed traveling in Kentucky. Thanks for watching. -Jim

  • Hey Newt. Thanks for the nice review. Did you really like that bluegrass? LOL I liked it for a short while but I wouldn't want a steady diet of it. Take care and have a safe and happy Memorial Day. -jim

  • I've traveled KY many times, and you're right...outside of the cities it is sparsely populated...and for some reason I always felt it was one of the cleanest states I've traveled through! Maybe the lack of roadside billboards, just miles of gorgeous countryside.

  • Ann you are right. It really does seem clean now that you mention it. As I told someone else, it seems to be a place for good clean living. Take care and have a safe and happy Memorial Day. -jim

  • Peaches I thought you lived in Georgia. I guess I just made that up in my little mind because of your YouTue name. LOL -jim

  • I have never been to Kentucky. WOW, what a lovely spot on Earth. Hope I get to visit someday.

  • We've got to get you out of north Georgia for a few spontaneous road trips! LOL Thanks for watching. -jim

  • Watching your trips makes me want to travel. You seem to enjoy the open road. The music. The scenery. The people....MINUS the high gas prices. Well, actually, I am planning a vacation in June. Going to Clearwater, FL for a week. Never been to Clearwater.

  • That sound like fun. I've been through Clearwater but never out to the beach. Everyone says it's a great place. The traffic is unreal in that part of FL, however. St. Pete has a great beach also. -jim

  • Sharon you'll have to get a haul down to Kentucky. I really was beautiful countryside. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • Hi Jim..I'm still enjoying going on all these trips with you. I love all the scenic views..everything is just beautiful. I was bebopping to the music as well..lol. As always take care.

  • Hey there blondbabe. Thanks for traveling with me. That music was a little much! LOL Take care. -jim

  • Sorry didn't make me crazy. Happen to like Bluegrass (in particular Allison Krauss).

  • LOL Well, it almost made me crazy! Today's upcoming video was back to the 70's music. -jim

  • Jim, the blue-grass music works well with this scenery. An enjoyable combination. Meanwhile, how far north are you going to go? Will you cross the Ohio River? We have shops in Indiana too.

  • Mark I haven't been to Indiana but maybe one of these days. I manufacture and sell linen products which really only sell in the deep south but I may get up there and give it a try one of these days. -jim

  • Where ya been? I missed ya.:) Nice scenery.

  • Hey Jamie. Here I am! Thanks for riding along. I'll have one more later tonight. -jim

  • Nice to see you back!!! I always love the trips...here we had five inches of snow. Brrrr not use to it at all...miss my sun!!! And warm weather..

  • It was 88 F here today!

  • What kind of linens Jim and where can we find them in Atlanta? Does anyone sell them on ebay?

  • They are not on ebay but I have some shops around Atlanta. I'll have to check and account list when I get back to town to let you know the names.

  • How much FARTHER? (whine) I need to stop for an orange drink!

Seriously, I love riding along! please keep taking us!

  • Hey Susannah. Don't worry, I'm working on another one just now that I'll post later tonight. Thanks for riding along. I forgot to offer you refreshments though. LOL -jim

  • MAN YOU WERE RIGHT THERE. You could have stopped in at the house. You went right by within minutes of where I live. NEXT TIME you'll have to connect brother. CALL ME. TonyDi

  • Hey TonyDi. I sent you a reply message. Hopefully YouTube didn't eat it but if so, let me know and I'll email it. I'll be back in a couple of weeks and call. -jim

  • EXCUSE ME? YOU were in Kentucky and you didn't come to see ME? What's up with that. And Mr. Rangely, there's a heck of a lot of MONEY here believe me. I don't have any of it, but it's here. This AIN'T a one-horse state - not that I care anyway. Next time you're in KY you MUST CALL ME. :o)

  • No, lots and lots of horses! LOL Kentucky is a really nice place. There aren't as many gift shops to call on as I would like but I would think it would be a wonderful place to live. -jim

  • It's OK. And as for the gift shops, they're here, you just have to root like a root-hog to find them. GOT to hit the tourist spots and there ARE many - historic places, etc. Check your PM/E-Mail on here. WE MUST connect sometime.

  • Hey Carl. No, I haven't really done a video about my sales. I manufacture a line of linens and sell them to retail gift shops in the southern US. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • LOL Brian. They are all "out to lunch." Kentucky is sparsely populated. The two largest cites are Louisville and Lexington and not much in between. It's good, quiet clean living though and the people are quite friendly. -jim

  • so, how did you like the narrow roads of Kentucky! LOL LOL

  • Those country roads were a little narrow Ruth. There are not many people so it wasn't a problem though. Thanks for riding along. -jim

  • Looks like a white fence paint salesman would do good in that part of the world. Thanks for the ride..

    jk

  • Yea, it's horse country and those fences are everywhere. In the Shaker country lots of them are black for some reason. Thanks for watching. -jim

  • love your trips...... I feel like I'm with ya.

  • Thanks Steph! I really appreciate you watching. The bluegrass music didn't push you over the edge? It was even getting on my nerves! LOL -jim
