  • Hi Peter.

A beautiful piece of work, my friend. Truthful, sensitive and sublimely observed.

  • This looks compelling, I haven't seen it yet but look forward to it. I've been in the ring with Muai Thai kickboxers as a camera op, here in Holland, and it is very intense. I wish you the best of luck with the project.

  • This film represents that rare thing in a human life - taking the opportunity to examine personal experience and to transform it into a universal message. When we do this, all can share the gold from our crucible, and life is truly richer!

  • Great anti-war, anti-violence, anti-hate film! A lesson of love written in sweat, tears and blood!

  • Great film, really enjoyed watching it. Hope you have kept up the sport, or maybe now you're teaching it to others now??

  • this is an amazing film! I think its a must see for everyone, even if you're not interested in martial arts. Its just fantastic

  • An incredibly moving film, wonderfully made.

  • a brave and courageous journey and a unique film....

  • I saw this documentary about a year ago and I have to say it was very moving and dealt with the nature of violence in a very personal and touching fashion. Definitely worth seeing!

  • theres 9 months left!!!

    ;-)

It does look interesting especially the philisophical ideas about violence and war in the individual and the manifestation then in the world outside the individual....

when is it being released in theatres?

  • I had a chance to see this at the Beloit International Film Festival and meet director/subject Peter McCarthy. It is one of the most open, vulnerable and downright interesting documentaries I've seen. And don't look at this and say "oh, martial arts, I'm not interested" because it is so much more than that. One moment you'll feel like you're watching a sporting event on TV with your buddies, the next moment you'll be having some knowledge dropped on you by a monk... it's a very rewarding film.

  • Hey Thanks Epsilon : )
