Actually I never knew how to make that, or any country fried steak. I didnt even know what kind of meat was in it, I thought pork. lol I guess because its not been a fav of mine from most places. But yours looks delicious to me! Not sure if I seen the bottle trick unless you showed us before. I noticed you didnt have to do any dipping before the flour in this recipe.

Girl I went on a wild goose chase looking for some cottonseed oil when I heard Granny Mae talk about it in one of her previous videos, and it ain't easy to find. (other than the HUGE one at Sams Club which is too big for me) I have been using Peanut Oil since I fired Crisco.

Isn't cottonseed oil the same thing as crisco shortening? I alwyas use crisco for frying! Makes it the darnest best thing ever!!!

@yescandles I cant always find Cotten Seed Oil myself and when that happens I sub Peanut Oil. Its Yummy too. Happy Cookin Darlin
