I hate this stupid fucking program, you have to be a fucking engineer to be able to handle cubase, there are so many fucking things you must know and do to make it work, it just pisses me off... Generally cubase is the best, but until you master it you gotta have a nervous breakdown...
@VicodinAddicted LOL! I love the way you expressed the "getting to know you" process with Cubase!. I have been "there" many times with the program. It's like trying to master an extra instrument. If someone would ask you what you play? You could legitimately respond, Guitar (or vocals, etc.) AND Cubase. LOL! I like Cubase and think the effort is worth it but, it will expose a "type A" personality, like mine, rather quickly to accusations of having Tourette's syndrome too.
@IdeaManTastic Well, you're right, beating cubase is beating all instruments, in a way... Well, regarding tourette, i already started to shoot involuntary angry sentences out of my mouth... FUCK!
My main problem is that i have no sound when i am working on drums... I have sound when recording a guitar, but drums are like ................................
I am running Cubase on AISO DirectX Full duplex. And for some reason piano and other tracks work fine but when assigning drum beats there is no sound,no volume. I am an absolute beginner so please could you help me out.
i need help on audio recording. i press record, midi starts playing, so i started singing into my mic. I get that wavy signal but i cannot hear my voice when i play it.
