@freshbreath3 what would you use to cut the eyes off the helmet though? Wouldnt they be real hard after you used fiberglass cloth/mat, bondo, and rondo? Or do you cut it while its still regular paper
@carval51 I use acetone to get the resin off my paintbrush so i can use it again
and rondo is a mixture of fiberglass resin and bondo body filler
rondo = use 16oz clear cup - use 2/3 of bondo body filler and use 1/3 of fiberglass resin
mix it up until it's runny then add bondo hardener, the coller will change
but i use rondo to make the armor stronger, use rondo after you put fiberglass cloth, but it's your choice, rondo does make your armor a little heavy, watch the other videos
hi i got a question how u fold thos tiny flaps on the hand plate at 1:55 cause its giving me a hard time ... the same way as u fold with a ruler?? cause i want it to be perfect as yours like that circular form!
@naruto88uzumaki yes same way with the ruler, hey there's another video that helps you out when folding, go check step 2 redo on pepakura program in my channel
Should you use a respirator instead of a dust mask for those type of fumes?
oONatetheGreatOo 1 week ago
@oONatetheGreatOo
It doesn't matter, I'm outside so the fumes move away anyway
freshbreath3 1 week ago
@freshbreath3 yeah, goggles are better because they are plastic and lighter an easier to attach to helmet like using hot glue

How many coats would you need to make it reasonably hard?
MrWasabidude 5 months ago
@MrWasabidude 2-3 layers of fiberglass clofth
freshbreath3 5 months ago
this part on a helmet would be putting the fiberglass resin by the outside right?
roynickle 6 months ago
@roynickle yes fiberglass resin on the outside, don't put cloth on the outside or you'll lose all your details on the outside
outside = fiberglass resin
inside = fiberglass resin + fiberglass cloth: i recommend 2 layers of cloth
