I really can't blame the guys who want to FC everything. For me though, the pinnacle of GH accomplishment was HellAshes FCing Jordan. After that, nothing was a surprise to me, and that's around when I gave up competetive play. I wasn't that great to begin with and after a time there just wasn't a point to it anymore. I wasn't going to FC TTFAF, I wasn't going to FC Jordan, and the games just started including more and more ridiculous songs. Casual as fuck now.

Its cool seeing all of these classic GH players coming out of the woodwork to share their stories about Danny. It really makes me feel bad though, because due to Danny being the ultimate try-hard, and his dad's richness, it has pretty much brought about the downfall of GH. I remember when GH3 came out, and If you could pass TTFAF, it was a huge accomplishment. Then Danny started FCing everything the day it came out, and sometimes even sooner. I used to enjoy GHP's videos. I really did. It was fun watching Danny do the things no one else could do. But then, he started getting too good. To the point where the status of an FC of a song was taken for granted as FC'd. it takes some of the fun and excitement out of the game. Oh, and Jack. Sure, let's take my son's talent and make the most money we can possibly make off of it. We'll continually have me speak for him and focus on me in "our videos", but of course, it's about Danny.
Oh also, in regards to Danny and his family. I don't have a positive or negative attitude about them. I don't know them personally. I've talked to Jack on the phone before around 2 or 3 years ago when there was going to be a huge Guitar Hero party sometime in California, but then it was canceled. I haven't been active in the GH community for the last year or two. I still watch some of the subs that come up, but I never comment.
I wouldn't say Danny is the only reason I quit, but reasons associated with him are.
After GH3, everything started getting easier. Songs were easier and the community started getting better. The introduction of slider notes turned me off as well. After Danny's appearance, the games that followed were quickly being FC'd by him. Sometimes on day of, or even before release date. GHWT, GHM, Smash Hits, ect. There's no drive anymore... I remember still being in GH2 and waiting for the release
@jnukes2 of GH3 with TTFAF. THAT WAS AWESOME. That's pretty much when "FC" was a word that was common to use. That's when songs started getting extremely hard. And with the more lenient timing window, the charts were allowed to be ridiculous. Remember when JLC FC'd RB? JPrez (I think) FC'd One? Chris FC TTFAF. These were extreme struggles... It disappoints me how last month I got like 10+ subscriptions saying "GH6 FGFC! Fury of the Storm FC!". When was the last time it took more than half
@jnukes2 a year to FC a game? Rock Band is slightly a disappointment to me only because all the songs that are hard have to be downloaded. Also... There is a ton of songs that break the strum limit. Nonetheless it's possible, but I think charters have to realize how already hard Trogdor is.

I also noticed how the guitar hero community was never the same when Danny started getting really good. Kind of a shame, really. More and more people stopped about caring about star power and the more competitive aspects of the game that got me hooked. That's PART of the reason I quit. I doubt it'll ever be the same... just be glad that we started playing when it was actually fun on the competitive level.

Albeit, most are probably from the past day, but I didn't see a single one with any type of negative criticism. All that was there were posts like "Awesome!" "You guys did great!" "1000/1000!". No, like smoky said in the video, has said multiple times other places, and intelligent people here have said, it's NOT DANNY they have a problem with, it's Jack and Scotty. My opinion on Scott and Jack was formed back when I watched the video regarding popemobile (Jack) and seeing Scott rip on Rishi for playing GH1. It's just sort of grown from that.

@jnukes2 a year to FC a game? Rock Band is slightly a disappointment to me only because all the songs that are hard have to be downloaded. Also... There is a ton of songs that break the strum limit. Nonetheless it's possible, but I think charters have to realize how already hard Trogdor is.

I totally agree smoky. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.
I also noticed how the guitar hero community was never the same when Danny started getting really good. Kind of a shame, really. More and more people stopped about caring about star power and the more competitive aspects of the game that got me hooked. That's PART of the reason I quit. I doubt it'll ever be the same... just be glad that we started playing when it was actually fun on the competitive level.

Albeit, most are probably from the past day, but I didn't see a single one with any type of negative criticism. All that was there were posts like "Awesome!" "You guys did great!" "1000/1000!". No, like smoky said in the video, has said multiple times other places, and intelligent people here have said, it's NOT DANNY they have a problem with, it's Jack and Scotty. This has seriously been said countless times. Danny is talented, nobody is denying that or has a problem with it except a couple assholes that nobody else here agrees with. @brich949 He has posed as Danny several times actually. Go look in his SH thread. There are several posts where "Danny" lashes out at the community. Also, if you download the text file above, you'll see where F4 thought he was exchanging PMs to Danny on SH but later realized it was Scott being a douche. Which just leads me to believe the guy is beginning to act like his father. Don't get me wrong, he's not as bad, but if someone wants to talk to Danny, how come its Jack or Scott they get?

Because Danny doesnt care about his fame at all, its just his father and brother who made him famous, without him, we wouldnt even know him today.
Danny just dont gives a fuck, Danny is the nicest, politest person in the GH Community. People just give him the same personality that Scotty and Jack has, so they can insult the whole family, the only way you COULD offend Danny, is because someone is jealous of him.

@Davers84 because you can't talk directly to danny; if you try to talk to danny you will inevitably speak with jack and/or scott instead. it's like impossible to talk to danny himself.
