I must say in both time people around the world they know us very well. It is a little different. At the past, they knew us as a great country, open minded and at least if it wasn't the best country in this world, it was one of the good one. And they still know us, but as a fanatic, terrorist, country that export their women for prostitutions. What Shah of Iran had that you can not see it anymore in our world is that he was Hunest, and he wanted to help the world and the poor. He made a revoloution in which all the solders who had some degree of education should go to villages and help their country men. He took the land from very rich elite, and gave it back to the poor farmers, what they STILL have no understanding other places in our world.................Wake up dont let them start a new war....

1979 was a very important date the Shah had chosen and announced to the West a few years before with regards to Oil prices and his control over their output and adjusting to match real value price of oil. Iranians are a bit smarter than being affected by propaganda. I love Iran I want it to be most powerful country, but was it so during the Shah time? I would have hoped but then why, a small budget of CIA and MK6 could topple the regime and the economy, at least now if they want to topple this regime they must use Military force and that even is in Question.
