I played this game and beat it the first time through your walkthroughs........ I wish Wiki was there for Zack. But it turns out...... they had to part ways in order for Zack to live. Zack and Wiki were so cute together as a team...... I wish they were back together though. Wiki was so cute! But....... the ending just broke my heart..

Zack can get transformed into a totem if Barbaros rings it near him on the Treasure Island stage. For some reason, only the current owner doesn't transform.

The story seems to repeat its self, just replay the very first stage (The Journey Begins) and see for your self. Zack finds Wiki in a treasure chest,and Barbaros remembers Wiki but I don't understand why Zack wouldn't remember Wiki

A funny thought crossed my mind when I got to watch Barbaro's Challenge lol... his whole scene looks ha-larious when played to the Spongebob Squarepants intro XD especially since his body movements go along with it in a very strange way

this is, by far, the greatest cutscene ever.

and also, barbaros turns into an item and then a human several times. how in the world does he change himself back to normal? and also the fact that 'barbaros totem' is an item, when barbaros was never turned into an item in the first place. lastly, this reeks of 'zack and wiki 2'. you know it's going to happen.

Heh. The game ends where it started, but that doesn't mean the story will repeat.

Wiki may have lost his memory, but Zack knows all about Barbaros now.

Not to mention that the Rose Rock are now friends with the Sea Rabbits. (My biggest gripe with a sequel! I loved the Rose Rock!)

Maybe the female voice actor got tired of to sounding like "Wiki" and reverted back to her normal voice—to have Capcom ignore it. Let's face it: unless you actually READ the books on the bookshelf, you wouldn't really know that Wiki's supposed to be male—so they let it slide. Besides, doesn't it sound more poignant that a more "mature" voice gives Wiki's last words?

This really proves how stubborn Zack really is. Notice how throughout the game, the skull on his hat reflects his emotions... After Wiki was gone, his face stayed normal, but the skull was sad.

Call me a complete sap, but I cried at the ending. Yes. Cried, actual tears. Wiki's speech started it, and Zack's sad face just let it keep flowing. I love this game so much, and I love all the characters, I have never cried over a game ending, until now. Beautiful game in so many aspects, story, art, characters, and their relationships, all make this game so great.

I'd kinda like it if Zack & Wiki stayed a single game, instead of becoming a series.

After all, the story came to a nice closure. They ended right where they started, and the Rose Rock are no longer rivals.

Then again, Barbaros DID foreshadow a possible sequel.

"I will live again. I will plunder. I will pillage! And I will pay them back a million times over for what they've done to me!"
