Take at look at the new dubbing method called Rope-dubbing by Don Ordes. You can Google up lots of places to buy the DVD tutorial. It works wonders with hard to dub synthetics.
Nice. I live in S.E. Pa and we get heavy hatches sometimes. Often some are so heavy, you find yourself competing with the real insect because there are so many in the water
Boy!some people are real dick heads in this world.Lots fly tying critics...lol
What do you retards think?,the fish studies a fly first to determine if it has to much hackle or not before eating it ....lol boy Ill tell ya dumb.. dumb.. dumb.
Opinions are like butts, everyone has one. LOL... According to all the "experts" the 2 hackles are required for an Adams..which this is simply a variant of.. So tell all the "experts" who have both the grizzly and brown hackle in the recipies.. not me, DUDE!
As for the caddis with mayfly wings????? Watcha smoking????
These videos are made between trying to make a buck. It also shows people not to give up while they are learning. If seen many, many vises and tying kits in yard or garage sales because new tiers thnk it is hard. Just takes practice.
it seems with every fly he uses something shiny hes like a raccoon

Its Marinaro, not marinara. Marinara is a kind of pasta sauce.

Im sorry but i had a little tone of irony/sarkasm with the streakin caddis because of all the hackle..
It nice that you take video footage of your work. Keep it up! :)

Trim the hackle and you got yourself a streakin caddis!
My opinion; way to much hackle..

Same amount of dubbin as an Adams that has taking fish everywhere in the world for over 100 years, Dude!

AND IF the fly isn't perfect it'll catch fish.
