Great cover. The Beatles (IMO) are credited for their writing capabilities more than their abillity to play their instruments, or sing. I can't stand their vocals, and the simple little lead line in this video is probably the absolute most difficult thing anyone in the beatles would/could ever learn to play.

@Ztys89 What an ignorant statement. The Beatles had a fuckton of great guitar solos that show off their respective talents, let alone all the other sometimes "weird" instruments they played. Paul McCartney alone shits all over The Gaslight Anthem in terms of musical proficiency. Listen to his solo on "Taxman" or his lead vocals on "Oh! Darling" - that's some mighty good guitar playing and singing right there.

Sorry you took my comment to the butt. I've played guitar the past 10 years, and that solo in Taxman takes very little skill. I like their music, and their adoration in the hearts of fans is well deserved, but in terms of the difficulty of their instrumental works...it's child's play.

@Ztys89 The Beatles were know for their singing talent. I agree that most of their songs wouldn't give pros any problems, but "childs play" is a ridiculous thing to say. Anyone with 10 years or more of experience should know how long it takes until you can actually sit down and play most any song you want, especially if you're self taught. It takes a long time. Even once you have 2-3 years of experience (assuming you didn't spend every waking moment playing) you still aren't that good.

Some people may be ignorant, but it is not just kids and you cannont blame them. At the time this music came out people of older ages found it druggy and stupid just like the music now of days. The Gaslight Anthem are heavily influenced by punk music. Punk isn't about high technicality and difficult guitar work, it's the exact opposite. If its no the type of music you like then so be it, but you're not going to stop anyone of liking this band. This bands is amazing!
