When someone does this hair transplant--Is the hair is going to grow once its in the head or it is going to be only one size? is it going to be real hair or fake hair ?
@31Jkn Hair transplantation involves the microsurgical redistribution of living and growing hair follicles, the tiny organs that produce your hair shafts.
Once the transplanted follicle is 'in place' in its new location, it will produce hair permanently... you need to wash and cut transplanted hair, just like the hair you had before. However, transplanted hair is immune to the the balding process so it grows forever.
Geez........................I think bald looks great. I happen to be going bald, and I think I look good. In fact, I've noticed that when I shave my head, I get noticed by the ladies. Too bad that I'm gay! Imagine Vin Diesel or Michael Jordan with hair....forgettable. Bald looks great. I think the guy in this video with the silly cap would look fantastic as a bald man. What a shame.
@bluedragon6287 First off, waiting until you are 'fully bald' to take action makes no sense. The medical management of hair loss includes treatments that can slow down or even reverse the hair loss process. The cost of a hair transplant procedure depends on the size of the session (numbers of grafts) and the type of harvesting (no scalpel/no stitch NeoGraft FUE or Linear "Strip" harvesting). The total numbers of procedures you need varies on the size of the area of hair loss and your goals.
@coolboy71293 The cost of a hair transplant depends on the numbers of grafts we transplant and the type of harvesting performed (FUE/NeoGraft or FUT/Linear).
@shaolinwolfjam During hair transplantation, you can only use 'donor' follicles from yourself. Follicles transplanted from another person would not survive. The NeoGraft FUE procedure is a less invasive option which also works very well for women. Many women like the idea of not having a scalpel or stitches used. The harvested grafts are small enough to be placed between the existing hairs in the thinning area.
Dr B....I saw you have one gray hair! You better get on that! :)
Also, the HD quality of this video is good, which adds to its value (to me and likely others as well).
Everyone has the choice of using Propecia afterwards. I think I asked Greg (during the LIVE procedure online) if he was going to use Propecia and he said "no" for his own reasons.
Is possible to not use Propecia and STILL have a thick/full appearing head of hair with transplantation?
this procedure looks much better that this old harvesting shit [=really frikkin creepy..taking half of your scalp off!] But, i believe that i have hair thats falling from the back as well! [which supposed to be strong] ..so how can u be sure, that the hair follicles that u take from the back, isnt a hair that is due to already fall? :\
Greg explains why he had the transplant, why he did the videos and the details of his collaboration w/ me (Dr. B./aka surgeonofnalts) in the description of his other video called "Hair Transplant!?" which is located on the MediocreFilms channel.
The main video on Greg's Hair Transplant is on MediocreFilms, and parts 1 and 2 of this interview are on MediocreFilms2. Have fun and let me know if you have any questions. --Dr. B.

In the future, they won't have to dig into someone's head like a barbarian. The issue is repairing/reversing the gene itself.

For the extractions, do you use hairs only from the patient or can you get donor hairs like say from a family member? Does this work well for women?

Watched all 3 videos, and found it very interesting. I've got all my hair still, but baldness does run in the family so I definately paid attention.
