@themongboy The three guitarists are what keep Radiohead Radiohead. You can have Thom playing a simple rhythm while Ed lays some sweet textures over the song so Johnny can rip the song apart with his leads, or the roles can switch sometimes. It's all for diversity's sake, and it makes them bloody fantastic.

The bends was never a fast song to begin with so I don't know what people are complaining about and when does thom ever sing a song exactly like it is on the record? Don't we love him because he has his own live interpretations of the songs?

Awesome. I thought they had retired most Bends era music from live shows.

It's always interesting to see how Thom is going to sing pre OK computer songs since his singing style was so different back then. He almost seems to mock his old singing/lyrics but in an affectionately nostaljic way.

What an amazing band. How many other bands from the early 90's can you say you are still listening to intensley and eagerly awaiting their next release after almost 20 years of great music?

I think if Thom is gonna have the attitude that these songs are a chore to play and he's burnt out on them is a cop out. If you don't like them anymore, don't play them at all if it's gonna be done half ass. Fact is most of the material they've done in the last several years is not all that great live. The least they could do is create set lists that cover their career and play more songs that connect with their long term fans. U2 does it and they're still one of the best live bands in the world

thom's been singing it like this for many years, almost all of their songs have evolved over the years, that's one of the great parts about seeing them live, it's not them just playing back the albums...btw awesome video thanks for making it..

It is funny that people think that Radiohead would play anything they don't like anymore. The Bends was one of the more played songs throughout the last tour. Granted, they slowed the song down from the album version, but they are a fricking different band than they were 15 years ago. You can tell that Thom is really enjoying himself during this performance.

@keilj07 I love The Bends it's one of my favorite Radiohead songs. I thought this was a pretty good version of it too. If Thom doesn't feel the song anymore I don't see why they would still be playing it especially since Radiohead has so many other neglected songs.

@keilj07 What do you mean man ? Everybody loves The Bends. I don't think that Radiohead have a problem with playing anything live, even Creep. I don't think that they'll ever record a alternative rock, 3 guitarists, album, but live it's all cool.

@WexterJace enjoying himself? i feel like he's kinda taking the piss out of it. like, compare this video to the nude video from this concert. its absolutely beautiful and thom doesn't miss a note. i feel like hes just getting this done, and not really trying as far as his singing goes. but i could be wrong. i just love this song.

@nollibear Well the thing is he has been playing The Bends since 1994 and quite often too. Nude is still kinda new song, even though it goes a way back as well. If you were to play one song the same way for a bajilion times, you would go insane. I just think that people who think that he despises the song and still plays it are terribly wrong and I am not even referring to you. I mean yeah, you can tell that he sings a bit slovently, but he is still into it a lot!

@WexterJace that's a big mistake. is not that they don't like them, but they are a proggresive band, they'removing forward and making musical-style twists ( OK Computer- Kid A / In Rainbows -King of Limbs) but that doesn't mean they don't like what they've done in the past ( the still existing creep performances show so)
