I have ubuntu 9.04 wine 1.1.34, it is slow, it's unplayable, i don't know why,

duo e8500 geforce 8800gt 512

vista 60 fps

ubuntu 1 fps

What about MP? Requires Steam which is known to be fairly buggy on Linux and has even been tied to VAC bans in the past. Would love to avoid all of that. Have you tried it?
