could be wrong but that does not look like an amanar, but a 1 1/2. If you watch her chest when she leaves the vault rotating to the left, you only see her chest face the camera twice in rotation, which suggests a 1 1/2. look at Shawn's vault at the olympic trials day 2 in slow motion. even though her vault is done in the other direction, you can clearly see that her chest goes to the side 3 times in rotation before she lands on the mat.
they only thing you achieve by watching shawn's amanar is that you can notice she doesn't complete the rotation and the fault should be downgraded. if you really wanna compare, consider rosu, cheng, hong who at least complete the rotation...if it were a 1 1/2 you wouldn't even bother counting the chest rotation as you can tell straight away

All I can say is WOW! She does it so effortlessly that I thought it was a Yurchenko 1.5! (Then I remember reading about her successfully competing the Amanar)
And she lands it like it's not big deal. She's like "Been there, done that.."! Great stuff! It seems that China will outperform the USA on UB, BB AND VT!
That vault was performed very well but it is not better than cheng fei because of her form chengs form is a little better and i think both of them are awesome. Good luck to both of them.
WOW WOW WOW!! How easy does she make that vault look!!! Im so surprised I had my doubts that she could get this around but she completes it with ease. I think the 16.100 is justified 5.8 A 9.3 B. What are everyones thoughts on this do you think its too high?

I think she scored 16.100 for this vault which means that this was an Amanar.

Besides, Shawn does not have an Amanar. Her "Amanar" is short. I doubt it would get credited at the Olympics.
