if you took this into the radio station, they would not play it because its not mixed good enough. did you even use A DE Esser? the (S) hisses somthin tough.. & aside from that, your vocals arent limited , they Bleed. & around @ 2:46, you play the acapella, its UGLY. i can hear the P pop out real bad, you need a POP filter, & if not that, you can atleast use an equalizer & bring down the first 3 channels!

Yo my G... sounds like you know what you doing, but on the real i can't hear you while the track is playing so loud.. I'm trying to follow how you add compression and reverb but i can't hear what you saying nor really see, the video quality is kind of suspect.. @shineinfinite Sorry my fault its supposed to be -30 i think, then the ratio have at 2.0:1. Give that a try and if you have any trouble jus drop me a message, im not at my computer at the moment so this is jus off the top of my head but i think its right.

Also ill try put the whole process in writing so hopefully u will be able to follow it better.

@BlackPowerMovement9 sorry for the late reply but....I just record directly into my PC, I got an m-audio delta 10-10 sound card and a ADK A51S mic which helps give it a good sound, the mic is hooked up to a Behringer UB802 mixer and i don't have a booth (i wish i did tho). hope that answers your question

However I do like how your stuff sound but i just think you should focus on the teaching part if its a (How To vid). I'd love if you'd do some tuts on proper Vocal Equalizing cuz your work sounds like you know how to. Again this is not dissing you, just letting you know I like the sound and think we all could learn lots more from you if they were more teaching based.peace

@williss11 sorry for the late reply but, you can download them or but them heres some useful ones: - VST Dynamics Compression

- TC Native reverb

- Waves C1 Compression (I use it on the Master channel, so it compresses the whole track)

- Stereo expander (I use it on the master channel to make the track song a bit fuller)

- Mod Delay (depends on the Track)

Can I ask what you use for your input chain? Do you just record from mic directly into PC? Or do you you you first go through a hardware compressor? Just curious as your vocal sources seem very good even before the fx.

@HypeTingStudio I just record directly into my PC, I have a relatively good condensor mic which helps to make it sound ok before the fx.

As cool as hardware fx look I don't really use them cause they are quite expensive and available in software format nowadays.
