When I was in Hanoi last year I did see other turtles around the temple island but of course they were small ones. Recently there was a group that fished out the giant turtle alive and hopefully keep it alive.

I know that Turtle. The legenday Giant Golden turtle of Hoan Kiem saved my life in 1980. It killed this python that dragged me underwater. I rode on top of the giant shell back to saftey. Thank you ole great one. Now everybody can see him.
