@ZRANCIS Actually I am not Christian. I am a theist, however, and do believe in a God of sorts but not the God of the scriptures. And I ALWAYS am asking myself why I believe in God and I always reach the same conviction that one does exist even when I converted to Buddhism for a year, I still believed in God because it is not possible for the world to come in to being without God. I can argue this point if you'd like.

I'm the same way.When I think of spirit/soul and what not, it's like when people say "the spirit of the days" the feeling, the memories, all of that. A soul isn't energy or any real thing to us.
