@VladSarpe If this trick was performed in a 1st world country, ok, I may believe she still alive, but this is coming from a 3rd world country and Cambodia is full of uneducated people.
@DorkinsTv they're doing conjuring tricks, and trying to present it dramatically; it's more startling with what seems to be a small young girl (I can't tell without her standing up). She might just as well be sawn in half inside a box, but this is more of a novelty

@chansophea1 Shes not alive, she was pronounce dead after the show, you can see her lips were really white and pale after he push the metal plate down. When he was moving her head, it was moving way off then normal, because the metal plate didnt cut throughly, if she was alive, her eyes should still be open since the beginning. So stop saying shes alive, have respect for her. She passaway in a magic trick gone wrong.
@Raksmey89 even if the Masked Prat gave away any workings, this is an excellent presentation - the lady does a great acting job, and it's uncertain for a while whether they'd pull her head right off (as some old-time magicians managed, thanks to great model makers!). It would be good to see how they work the presentation in its full length, and to know their names. Few few people see such show live; thank goodness for YouTube and chansophea
Yes I agree with that, it's a great live act, and I applaud that, coz I think after all magic shows are supposed to wow and to schock people. All I wanted know is wether this is the same technique that the masked magician used, coz even if it were, this is still amazing, given the fact it is done on live stage front of audiences. I don't think the magicians want you to 'hate' their trick (Maybe there's a better Khmer word for how you felt!), but I'm sure they'd be glad that they impressed you; a teenager must be about the best target audience. According to your homepage, you're a performer yourself, so you could probably participate in this act with the right preparation - you could play your guitar, then they could cut your head off.
