@WolfMetal45 dude DOw 1 soulstorm is better than Dow 2, most Dow experts say, and i tried both and agree. although multiplayer in Dow 2 maybe is better, but the Dow 2 campaign sucks ass to date :[. I prefer Dow 1 soul storm over all previous ones, and my fucking computer cant really run Dow 2 smoothly anyway.

There are some specific problems they could work on, but I think they are more worried about the expansion than patching this version. For instance, orc Roks and the Space Marine plasma cannon leave overlapping textures that dont ever go away. So they start building up and create a bit of lag. Stuff like that :( Hopefully they will be fixed in the expansion

It was confirmed awhile ago that the Chaos Lord in this is actually Eliphas from Dark Crusade. Hes a champion of the Black Legion now and leads the Chaos forces in the story or something like that. Too bad, he failed Lorgar, hes going to fail Abaddon too.

In the original DoW2, they only spoke of sub-sector Auralia.

But now it's a planet, that we have never heard of nor played on. I guess the sub-sector was named after the planet, the planet dissapeard, the happenings of DoW2 campaign and then it reappered.

The only way I can make sense of this plot twist.

Yeah I know all this, I have paid careful attention to the storyline, but I never noticed that the planet who was shown to have died in the DoW2 campaign intro was infact Cyrene, Angelos homeworld.

butthink about it, here cyrene is "alive" nad in the first, he say he "lost/killed" it.. and in dawn of war 2.. its exactly what happends!!

I think dawn of war 2 is BEFORE the orginal dawn of war!! and that the things in dawn of war 2 chaos rising leades to the events in the dawn of war campaign.. and THAT story ended with a cliff hanger!!

No, its impossible to have happend before the original, as they all speak of their past experiences, in the original DoW.

Thus, it is impossible for the second to have happened before the first.

Also, they only show that Cyrene HAS died, they never say when, only that it was dead BEFORE the second started.

Awesome, I hope they aren't going to be a horde-like race like in the first dawn of war. CSM are more of fewer, stronger, and more experience than the newer generation of Space Marines. The exception is the Word bearers, who uses manpower, cults and deamons.

Since DoW2 is based around (relatively) small squads, I doubt they will be Horde-like. I imagine they will play around a core elite army of Marines, with the added pros and cons provided by Chaos worship.

I'm afraid IG won't be in this expansion.

But implenting them in a future expansion is quite possible, since it worked with the tyranids, the IG should work just fine. Perhaps give them guardian squad sizes.

Sadly no Baneblades though, a single one would cover half the map.
