funny stuff... used that trick once while responding to a veg fire many years ago. Work surprisingly well. No cussing of course.

I don't know what's better...a mechanical siren in Japan, or the officer cussing out stupid drivers with the PA. All this debate about mechanical sirens being used in conjunction with electronic sirens or Powercalls might be solved. Lay on the Q and yell at 'em out on the PA!
