That's true, but if you post an interesting enough video and maybe use good tags, you can still get plenty of comments and a few thousand views, with having zero friends or knowing how to start. On Digg, you can post an amazing article, but not a single person will Digg it if you don't have friends, or the right friends, because you never see it. Your point's still relevant of course, but I think the problem is more rampant on Digg.

Do you know what RIGGED means? These users just increase the chances that their articles become popular by OTHER users ALSO digging them. It's not rigged, man.
How does a friend's list make it rigged? Also, it would seem that people who submit more would naturally have a better chance at having a front page - hence the high numbers. If it was truly rigged, then someone would only submit one or two a day and all would be popular. As it is, it seems that your video (showing high numbers of submits) is proof that it is not actually "rigged".
These are people who are part of a group of friends that will automatically digg each others stuff no matter who they stole it from, it's gaming the system and it's turning the site from one where everyone submits to one where just a few elite submit shitty quality stories.
