I test drove a 2008 scion xB and fell in love with it. The only problem I had with it is the automatic gear shifting. I'm not sure if it was because it was used, but I notice a problem when the gear shifted; almost as if the gears were stuck or didn't want to change. had about 56k miles on it which isn't bad for the 14k price tag. Almost perfect Car Fax record. If I could afford it I would totally mod the hell out of it,lol.

It's drives poorly! I returned mine after 3 weeks because it felt tipsy on highway turns. See review on "Car and Driver" web-site. I agree with their assessment," ...like sitting on a tipsy barstool". Scion needs to fix this. Take it for a test drive on the highway before purchasing.

I had m 2010 model and its been a great multi purpose city car . i was able to fit a 70" HDTv boxed in it. It may not be the collest or hottest car but its not for that market.

I want one but i can't get over that it has 158hp and it gets 22cty/28hwy. Jeep Patriot/Liberty have 170hp and get 29hwy and are better for SUV handling and not little car handling. You would think Toyota would put the Camry engine in this and give it the 180+hp and the 30-32hwy miles but i guess not =/ Still looks really cool though.

I think what hurts the fuel mileage, it that U241E 4 speed auto. Toyota should put the new 6 speed in it. I'd think it would work well the the 2.4.

i very like the xB, maybe this model will be my new upcoming car in 2013 when id finish to clean my creancier bank of my lancer ralliart 04 till.

-Why only FWD drivetrain? i am driving a FWD everydays and at some points i am dissapointed, me better locking for a AWD new car for having no problems on the road: weather. So great look the xB have!

fuel economy is a bit cack but the car is fun to drive!i have a 08 and would love to upgrade to this 11 model but I am close to having mine paid off! wot needs to be mentioned is the resale on this vehicles is really good! bought mine one year old in 08 for around 14 the same car with more miles is still selling for 14900 and i have had it 2 years!!

i have the 2010 model and it's a great all around car. I upgraded a $300 leather interior seat cover and among other things . The upright driving position makes the car so much fun to drive and it's zippy.

I've always loved this car and know very well it could be my next one. I really loved the first generation of it and with this second generation I was always intrigued by the one rear reverse lamp on the side. I was hoping that instead of the rear reflectors they would've copied what Pontiac used to do in using the two rear reverse bulbs that acted like fog lamps. It made reversing in dark areas easier.
