sounds like a fair amount of work. all the early engines were cast iron and had a substantial mounting point for the pedal, most of todays engines are aluminium and lack an area strong enough to support the pedal assembly.
I thought about doing it one time, using the integrated flywheel clutch found on most Briggs & Stratton engines. I personally don't think it would be much work to do so.
would love one of these to go with my Sattley TA, just dont see them in the uk :(

Where is the gas tank?

The oil and the gas are both located in the base in separate chambers. The gas is pumped up to the carb and excess is drained back to the tank.
