  • Coolest thing i ever seen made with paper towels.

  • AMAZING

  • Love it!Makes me think how neat it would be if the Master returned in a female incarnation or the Ranni!Love to see Billy Piper wear it.

  • very nice. I seen the pics with you or a person wearing it. Much improvement when you see a person in it

  • Gorgeous detail. Beautiful work.

  • Wow! This is a really neat costume!! I wish I could sew like that!

  • how did you make it

  • @fredericawintz click the link in the description. All the making-of info is there.

  • Genius! so much amazing detail.

  • What is the little bug on the collar made out of?

  • @MercyPiano It's an actual preserved beetle - part of it, anyway. The wings are real, but the body and head are metal.

  • that is just amazing and so detailed!

  • so adorable! i love it!! ^^

  • do you have a tutorial on the bustle portion?

  • @Vampkiki I don't, but I used the 'ring and ribbon' method, so there are tutorials available by other people.

  • would love a basic tutorial on the vest....the wings were a nice touch...

  • thats fantastic

  • thats awesome! such exsquisite detail and craftmanship...

  • thats awesome!

  • Amazing. I am extremely jealous of your abilities.

    It looks beautiful.

  • I'm new to steam punk (but only because I didn't happen to stumble across it- soooo up my alley!) and I totally LOVE your work. This is amazing - a great blend, with story and lots of pieces and good design and some leg but not tawdry, etc etc etc. Gosh, woman, you are amazing. Well done!

  • really wish we could wear this stuff around, like... every day. instead of jeans.

  • goodness wow amazing

  • beautiful!

  • Is this a pattern that can be purchased? I like this very much and would love to make something similiar!!!!

  • @hallelujahattie No, I drafted this costume myself by draping the fabric directly on my dressmaker's dummy and cutting. No patterns were used!

  • You, my dear lady, are pure talent.

  • Thank you! :)

  • @DocDayafter there are some basic patterns for the skirt and top that can be found on ebay for purchase...key word victorian ..similar to the one she made but not as pretty unless you can embelish it alot, thread banger also has some decent tutorials for some steampunk-ish basics through out their steampunk, alice in wonderland, and sweeny todd tutorials
