well, this stradegy works fine to me, I own Mega Man 1 on anniversary collection, what I do is shoot every time he jumps, and pay attention to when he lands so you jump, as for the rocks he throws you can just jump over them, I guess it's better if you have a turbo controller to shoot faster,

Gutman is more interesting to fight than others robotmasters.

Iceman: Simple pattern

Bombman: Simple ^^

Fireman: Jump and jump to the right..and jump, he shoot 1 flame :D

Cutman: To the right of the 2nd block, shoot....and jump.

elecman: shoot and shoot WITHOUT MOVING from the beginning!:!!
