  • That's stupid

  • ARE YOU CRAZY MAN!? GET THE FUCK OFF THATS SICK WHAT YOU ARE DOING YOU FUCKIN IDIOT!

  • the fuck you doin?

  • Transport fish to another tank immediately for the sake of all that's good and proper in the kingdom of fishies all over!

  • with that said, if this is truly just algae

i highly recommend dmartins123 look into algaponics and biofuel production

  • really interesting, i scrolled through all of these comments

i dont think its JUST algae

the saturation of algae to get to this level would be impressive even to biofuel engineers

im not saying algae isnt contributing to the look, but i dont think its all algae, possibly lighting tricks, or something else

and people who think "dirty" water is bad for fish, go check out a HEALTHY aquaponics setup, they are RARELY crystal clear

  • Maybe you should give some more explanation in your description cuz nobody understands and presses dislike

  • I can see how first thought is that this bad, but it's actually more natural and the algae produce O2. Lots of O2. That being said, I don't know about this being what I'd want in my living room, haha.

  • @acdvfb they produce o2 during the day. when the lights are off [and while they are on as well] they USE o2 and will rob these fish of oxygen they need to breathe. and this is NOT natural. i have never see a pond that green in my life.

  • @realtheloniuscrunk This doesn't appear to be a thick goopy mess, and as long as it receives ample light during the day it will produce more than enough O2 for a couple of gold fish. I don't know the history of the tank or how long the fish have been in there, but they seem to be doing quite well at this stage. Most ponds have green/brown water, and most goldfish thrive in them. One was released in KC a few years ago and grew to the size of bass when it was caught in a mirky municipal pond.

  • what are you using to make water go green? does it affect the fish and their feeding? or the ability to see eachother?

  • Wouldn't hurt to put a pleco in there. At least its not harmful to them. Yea, most ponds will have green water.

  • lol I wish my air was green

  • Бедные рыбы

  • BORING

  • that is cool

  • uh someone said that its animal abuse and there's a shortage of air, I m like what? do you know that ponds usually have green water? fish can consume the algae for vibrant color and growth. when you turn on the light it produce lots of oxygen for the fishes. its bests to kept it with air at night :D

  • What's making it green?

  • @CwalkInREDndYELLOW algea? 0_O

  • this fish dont mind it but i would get bored of it fast

  • is it algae? or something else

  • kool aid

  • WOW awesome aquarium is one of the best I`v seen

  • q bosta

  • Guys, look it up first before making a comment and google it so you won't look like an idiot. :/

  • wow would youu like t2 live in that shitt

they cant cee anything eyem sorry fishiez :(

  • if you think about it, that is how lakes look underwater.....but it would still be nice to see the fish right? maybe make it a little less green? do like a 50% water change so you don't restart your whole cycle.

  • please clean your tank, it makes u seem like u dont care for your fish

  • clean that shit

  • If you think about it. any body that has a fish tank is an animal abuser since you are taking them out of their natural habitat and putting them into a tiny tank. so deal with it you animal abusers. lol

  • @hammsmarine I agree that this is cruel to keep them in this filth but isn't keeping fish as pets just like domesticating dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and alll pets like that?

  • @nelly42424 That's not filfth you tard. That's "green" water. It's actually healthy for goldfish. Go to an actual goldfish breeder(the obsessed ones) and you will see their ponds have green water.

  • im new to the fish scene and just wanna know what the green water does. or is it just green from lack of maintenance?

  • Some of the folks commenting are ridiculously ill-informed

  • ... i feel as though thats not very functional.... u cant even see the fish.....

  • this make the fish thrive and grow ! they really do love it

  • you re such a jackass why in the world would you have a green tank if this is the case you should not have fish at all

  • @APPLEproductionsUK1 why on Earth would you want to do that and how is it good

  • ur an animal abuser yes fish are animals

  • @laceymay611 its not cruelty its supposed to be like that.

  • hahahahahahahahhahahahhahahahhahhahhahahaha

  • that looks really bad change the water

  • fucking ugly bro....lose the shit fish also, they suck...goldfish are for suckers

  • Is that water healthier than normal water for goldfishes? so how can i prepare this green water? Help me.

  • @suwat2009 Just let it in the sun

  • @suwat2009 eat alot of lettuce then shit in the tank, voila! green water!

  • Zombie fish!!:P

  • O_o

  • how did you get it so green?

  • LOL at least the fish are healthy!! AWESOME TANK BRO BEABSS

  • LOL at least the fish are healthy!! AWESOME TANK BRO BEABSS

  • all you haters are idiots

  • ,)

  • 0.O Kinda Ominous isn't it? With their dark shadows floating around in there!! :P

  • @ALemonProduction1 0 as those things grow huge

  • are you people retarded, fish in the wild live in way shitier water all this water has is a green color and its even filled with nutrients! so dont be that dumbass with a 2 gallon tank that buys anyfish just cus its pretty

  • Hey you the sterilizer for that tank won't be enough you need to replace all that water start with 50 percent and every day at work your way down

  • @vcrespo5782 he did it on poupuse.

  • You better get a uv sterilizer

  • green water causes gill damage after about 3 months, because it takes the oxygen out of the water, that fish need to breathe, and causes scarring on their gills as SMOG does to lungs been taking care of people's fish tanks literally since I was born, dont do this, its animal abuse. thanks

  • good job, and keep up the good work... i hate it when people who dont know what their talking about leave nast comments...

  • bro is that alge beacuse that is not healthy for your fish

  • the fish look like they are drawing "help me" on the glass.

  • Comment removed

  • Can you let me know how to make green water for the aquarium? There are so many benefit to green water, thx :D

  • @erntam1990 there are NO benefits, its animal abuse, they can't breathe. ITS ALGAE, like in a shitty duck pond. Ask MEEEEE about fish stuff Username= anORNERYpenguin

  • is it made of green jello? lol

  • u r sick

  • @Daniel19980183007 how is he sick....?

  • nu cess praticament........

  • Very nice this is a great way to boost your fishys Amun system.

  • hahahaha get a uv sterilizer

  • why is it green:|?

  • Lol It Looks A Bit Shit :L

  • o.0 wait, its supposed to be like this? its kinda cute if its healthy and what not. i love goldfish. does it make them healthy and happy?

  • @ 0:20 the fish is like "HELP,HELP, GET ME OUT OF HERE"

  • @junioribanez66 the fish is like...plz gtfo if you don't know anything about goldfish...

these fishes are lucky and they love it!!

  • is there a reason for doing this? other than looking cool that is.

  • @dooftea goldfish like to graze on the green algae. The green algae is the result of a microbial bloom because there aren't enough good bacteria to consume the wastes. Chemical removal of the algae is not recommended by some hobbyists and they prefer to use U.V.

  • how you make it green?

  • Looks like the Hulk took a piss in there

  • cool tank bro

  • Algaefix will square that away, it's ultra potent so only use 1/5 of a teaspoon for 10 gallons.

  • Hulk fish?

  • such a lovely shade of green

  • you should do a before and after video of the fish's color

  • Comment removed

  • How do I get green water in my tank?

  • @erntam1990 Weird question. Most of us are always fighting against green water.

  • WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????!!!!!!!!??!!!!!!!

  • I think you should call one of the Bruce Banner as he has clearly gone hulk!!

  • why would you keep your tank like this

  • buenisimo, también le mearía el tanque para ver si a los peces le gusta

  • lol green water perfect for dahpnia culture lol

  • Why would you do this?

    1 - It doesn't look good tbh

2 - looks like the fish are having a pretty shitty time

3 - looks like your tank is basically radioactive or soemthing

Clear water just looks 10000000x better, i have no idea what so ever why someone would prefer this :s

  • @MrDingDongPong Then don't do it. I prefer planted tanks over ANY goldfish, but it's this persons choice. I'm pretty sure the fish couldn't care less. Do you know how many fish swim in rivers that are brown and smell of shit? I think clean, green, water is fine. Stop insulting other peoples tanks.

  • @MrDingDongPong green water is just floating algae. Which means alot of natural healthy food for the fish. Keeping fish in green water for a while boosts their health like crazy. To counter your statement-

    1. You dont have to like it tbh.

    2. The fish loves it more than clear water.

    3. Now that is just stupid.

  • @MrDingDongPong Its very healthy for fish that's why and I don't think this is his main tank. He probably has this tank to put the fish into sometimes for health reasons. Think before you comment.

  • @MrDingDongPong

Becuase Gold Fish love it. The reason we want to keep water clear, its for our benefit. Notice most water in the world is not clear.

  • ????

  • EWwwwwwww

  • there is a colouring whch helps to prevent skin rot,fin rot, fungus grow and other fish disease there are 3 colours blue green and yellow he might have picked the green one.Thats why his tank colour is green.

  • What the shit dude that's gross

  • im a lazy ass kid :D

that what he want to tell us

  • They look like sharks when they are blurry in the water :D

  • dummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    asssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

  • @DogWarrior327 it depends. The green is from algae, and helps fish grow much faster. Unfortunately it can make it a bit difficult to see your fish...I personally think green water and black water tanks look awesome though

  • You mean to tell me i can buy a variety of colored fish and colored water??? WOW!!!

  • i would like to get a gallon or 2 of that water .. i am having a bad ph prob in my tank rite now and a gallon of that would fix it rite up....lol

  • i love the fact that this tank is in the wall i think its awesome. and i love the green water algae it kinda looks like some alien experiment.

  • nothing wrong with algae people, in fact you'll get healthy fish. just make sure there's oxygen and filtration and youll be fine!

  • @TheAsianVids no i just looked at the dislike bar loool

  • that is cool, i now want to try this to improve the colors on my kois.

  • Food coloring???? But cool.

  • That's a cool look, but I think I'd rather be able to see my fish rather than just their silhouettes:P

  • i woulnd feed them as much if this still happens if it does still happen get some live plants

  • i like that

  • that is so kool

  • So... the green stuff is algae?

  • Thats neat - So are you keeping lots of algae so they grow bigger? Are you ever going to try to remove it? The algae? Or do you like it that way?

  • Comment removed

  • @JohnnyX50 Presumably the person who posted the video knows that well enough to have put an air line in to increase the oxygen in the water. Also, this water is in no way stagnant. And what do you mean, gill damage? I've had a greenwater tank before. The fish looked amazing when they went back in the main tank. Their colours were so vivid.

  • @JohnnyX50 Your claims about this tank are inaccurate. So.. oasidndgfoiwno;ignwaoirnut'poaiesutjpojunwebpotjndfnjv;amjrea

  • The silhouettes are kind of cool actually. It would be cool to set the light up behind the tank! Not sure how good that would be for the fish though.

  • they must be healthy fish! not sarcastic either!

  • It's really funny to see so many uneducated people call someone who knows what they are doing derogatory names, all because they are ignorant and don't understand. You stupid phucking retards, these goldfish are happy and healthy. Grow a phucking brain and do your research before you spout off something as retarded as what I'm reading in these comments. Morons! I'm surrounded by morons!! Insufferable morons!!! HELP!

  • @FarSkiesBeyond dued calm down man. I would suggest anger management classes all of what u said in your little speech about other people is what i should be saying about u. Wow how insequre can anybody be. And if u comment back saying that I spelt that wrong u are just trying to create something to make yourself feel better!

  • @FarSkiesBeyond I have been taking care of aquariums for as long as I can remember. I am NOT a moron, and even I say that green water is not good

  • lol you need a water change pal, it looks like shit & probably stinks aswell ! you dont need all that algae to keep fish healthy lol especially 2 pond fish.

  • I don't know anyone who can a tank that dirty. Thumbs down.

  • I know its not what u want but doesnt it look epic with nice bright fluro shining through it.. that green is amazing... How did it get so bad??

  • u seriously need a cleaner

  • i bet my pleco could clean it up in 1 day

  • lol

  • tht look sick but isnt it bad for thm?

  • It looks like u took a piss in the water and mixed it with a crap load of margaritas

  • this is really ugly

  • why green?

  • I actually think that the way this is set up, with the dark silhouettes moving through the green is really peaceful. I bet those fish are loving it too.

  • This actually looks pretty cool. Greenwater is great for young/small fish since the green comes from algae which the fish can eat and also help to keep the tank in healthy parameters. just replace the goldfish with some endlers liverbearers and that tank would look sick

  • i also heard that the green water is healthy 4 fish and will llow them to gro faster is this really true?

  • WTF GET A FILTER

  • this would be an awesome tank to use for testing a UV sterilizer, greenwater all the way!!!

  • u have a alge problem

  • so i was right that green water is healthy cause i leaned about that at a camp which i went to.

  • Green water is super healthy for fish. Even though it is hard to see them, they are living a nice healthy life in green water. Seeing them is for our enjoyment. The tank isn't dirty. Good job :D

  • If you think my lesson was irrelevant then you need to take a chemistry class. You are welcome to sit in on any of my chemistry seminars; I will be delivering them daily starting in January.

Just because phosphate issues tend to come from the same source as nitrogen issues (overfeeding, etc) does not mean that they are linked as part of a biogeochemical cycle. If you know how the cycles work then you would know this. But you don't.

  • what's the point of a fish tank if you cant see anything? Clean your fish tank!

  • Poor fish

  • wow thats dirty water

  • Clean that tank! Sad fishes...

  • Drain all the water and start over

  • EVERY BODY LISTEN THAT TANK IS CLEAN, THE WATER IS JUST LIKE POND WATER AND GOLDFISH LOVE IT

  • that is nasty , i understand the fish like it but they would like a norma ltank just a well and it would look more appealing to people

  • Tank has to cycle give it time

  • To get the green to go away really quick I recommend buying plants and moss balls, they work great at getting rid of phosphates and the loss of phosphates will clear up the water.

  • Green water (Algie) isn't bad, but it comes with bad things such as insanely high phosphates. It won't let the fish grow, and it will stress the fish out and the e fish can die. It's very bad for the fish. I have worked at various pet stores. Right now I'm working at Petsmart

  • @reddevilcichlid you're an idiot. algae will absorb phosphates. goldfish love it and eat it.

  • @swingingdead69 im an idiot algae is formed by nutriens(phosphates) and bad lighting. phosphates are bi product of the nitrogen cycle and with high phosphates comes high nitrates wich is also bad for the fish. but all of this is besides the fact. that tank looks like SHIT!

  • @reddevilcichlid Phosphates don't come from the nitrogen cycle. Phosphates are a chemical group that include phosphorous: H3PO4, H2PO4, HPO4 and PO4 are you major phosphate ions. There is a whole world of organic possibilities... DNA, for example.

Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate contain no phosphate groups at all and are the key stages in the organic portion of the nitrogen cycle.

  • @NexusCrawler0 phosphates coincides with the nitrogen cycle and the tank is green because the phosphates give the algea a major food supply.

BTW thanks for the irrelevant chemestry lesson.

  • @NexusCrawler0 cool story brah

  • I recommend everyone grow algae on one wall like I do. I go though the natural rhythm of green water, I just turn on my UV light for a couple days and it goes away, I turn it off. I don't run it 24/7. There is nothing wrong with green water the tank is healthy, and that's a good thing. You just can't see your fish... they like to hide anyway, unless you're feeding them. Lol

  • @gedankenwelten The green water will not hurt the fish but yes a pond or here in the Chesapeake Bay algae blooms kill fish. For the record, plants daytime metabolism, CO2 is absorbed, Loss of carbonic acid raises pH. Plants night time metabolism O2 is absorbed, CO2 forms Carbonic Acid, lowering pH at night. I agree the ppm in a aquarium will probably not get this bad that will kill fish. I don't like liquid algae killer, people should invest in a Uv light. :-)

  • Oh man, you people who find this wrong and disgusting have absolutely no knowledge about aquaristics or water biology...

  • this is sweet,...im guessing its the type of light that you use for this effect or you added something to the water .....the effect is sweet......

  • Do you add Daphnia to your goldfish tank? They keep the algae in check, and they make great food for any fish.

  • If u like clear water, fine, but your fish will suffer (no jk they probly will just not grow as well :P).

  • sweet! I want this in my 5.5 gallon! kinda creepy though the goldfish look like aliens. and seriously guys, are u COMPLETELY RETARDED!? I dont even have goldfish and I know they live in ponds that look green. have u ever seen one of those oddly dark bodies of water that when u pur it it's crystal clear? Yeah, thats what fish live on in the wild, they dont get fed flake food everyday. Also, imagine how much sunlight a lake would get... So dont troll smart people who actually research their fish.

  • If you really wanted to remove the algae than a UV sterilizer would be the way to go. Chemical methods are effective but algae is a sign of healthy water. if something is removing the algae from the water it is quite possible that it's not good for the fish on some level. I personally just keep aquarium plants and that solves my problem with algae. all I get are diatoms right now.

  • The amount of ignorant in the comments is lulz worthy. Green water doesn't hurt goldfish it's actually more benificial for them especially the sick ones and ones that upset the tank boss as they can hide much more efficiently. For ornamental purposes I don't suggest it since you can't see them. But strictly speaking from health if these fish were gonna die from algae there wouldn't be any fish in any stagnant bodies of water... ever.
