  • Would be even better on a 12-string to enhance those double note effects!

  • This tune tells a most intricate story.... don't know how but it just does

  • @GarretsShadow I know what you mean. Like puts your mind in whole new atmosphere. I love how good music does that

  • A masterpiece! I`m so impressed of rpoland... I´m so grateful for the subscribe-button!

  • Gee... Now I see his notes in every rain drop, even in my own tears. Strange feeling to have your heart broken by one of his arpeggios, and then mended with the next one. This song is like a long sigh. You feel sad while hearing it, but relieved and soothed when it fades away. Peter Ciluzzi, you are a dangerous, talented musician.

  • So beautiful

  • HEY thats andy's chair!

  • This man is the fucking law!!!

Peter Ciluzzi is the musician that reveled me the other way to make music, to play guitar, to feel the noise.

From Spain i only can say... THANK U!!!

  • Someone can tell me what tuning they use? Pliiiiizzzzzzzzz .. X´<

  • @guilreispaula

Hey, I know you asked a couple months ago, but the Tuning for Abyssal is B F# D F# B D He plays it on a baritone guitar, handles low tunings like this quite nicely. But even light strings will be okay, just really floppy.

  • looks liek that one italian thug from the Sopranos

  • @ChoskarChulian LOL I see it, he is Furio!

  • @ChoskarChulian LOL I see it, he is Furio!

  • @EnterTheMurk

    Yeah, him! Furio. :D

The dude with the long hair.

  • this guy should do a project with mikeal akerfelt from Opeth, and i love peter makes his own guitars! i'm saving up now so i can buy one of his guitars. their bass sounds soo good

  • @MrJesus666 I like the way you think :D, they both have that strangely eerie dissonant sound. Pretty sure it would be damn amazing.

  • @TheRealrocker74 hahah i know i was just kidding.

  • This is just beyond words

  • This is just beyond owrds

  • I love this dude... no homo though!

  • i couldn't really get in to this one.

  • It always strikes me how sexily low his guitar is tuned. Wish I could get me a baritone.

  • @TheReighnart i wanna play taylors 8 string baritone

  • @poopoo824y052y I have the 6-string and it is simply amazing.

  • officially my favourite acoustic-guitar song!

  • could anyone tab this?

  • @rops2101 There's a tab of the intro at ultimate-guitar

  • @TheReighnart yea, but its only for the intro, but i would love to play the entire song,

  • Can someone name that guitar for me?

  • @drummerboy1692 He makes them . . . no freaking joke. Google-Ciluzzi guitars

  • @MrIbanezExclusive No way that's freakin' awesome! Although I really like the Breedlove he plays on too. I really want to get a better than Passport series lol. Maybe I can get sponsored lol... fat chance..

  • @drummerboy1692 It's a Ciluzzi's guitar. He's a luthier :D

  • @drummerboy1692

Henceforth, this guitar will be known as "George the guitar".

    You're welcome.

  • damn ryan night is an even better guitar player than i thought

  • WHY ARE YOU IN ANDY MCKEE'S HOUSE?!

  • @icantthinkofaname32 it's candyrat's studio

  • @icantthinkofaname32 lol its not andys house..its candyrat studios...

  • @icantthinkofaname32 I'm not sure why this comment made me laugh as hard as it did. The 30+ positive votes is comedy enough. I pictured some wide eyed, coked out dude stumbling into the CandyRat studio in the middle of Ciluzzi's session like, "WHY ARE YOU IN ANDY MCKEE'S HOUSE?! BLARGH!!"

  • @icantthinkofaname32 yeeeeea that would be candyrat studios...andy mckee doesn't live there lol

  • @TheRealrocker74 candyrat studios = Rpolands living room?

  • @NathanKinnaman rpoland isn't andy mckee:)

  • @icantthinkofaname32

    think it's candyrats studio :D

  • @TheAkimedes Don't embarass yourself. He knows it is, he was making a joke. <3

  • @icantthinkofaname32 don's house

  • @icantthinkofaname32

Peter, Antoine, Don, and Andy all live in that tiny recording studio. They're not allowed to sleep and are forced to play guitar all day long while doubles go out and live their life. Candyrat produces some of the finest guitarists in the world, but at a terrible price. If you would like to learn more about Acoustic Fingerstylist Cramming Methods, please visit Candyrat.com.

  • @icantthinkofaname32 I thought of the same thing xD

  • @icantthinkofaname32 Hands down funniest comment I've seen on any CandyRat video.

  • this guys awesomeeeeeeeeeeeee ....makes me want to pick up my guitar an play

  • mmmmmmm so sweet

  • why would there be dislikes on a song like this? i mean if you don't like this type of music why search for it it? although there is a good like to dislike ratio

    btw i love this song

  • Music Speaks by Herself.

  • So original, I feel like this could be inspired by nothing.

  • @jlrivers24 I guarantee this was inspired by the songs "baby toes" and possibly "two days old" by michael hedges. These are from the" Breakfast in the Field" album.

  • yayyyyyy

  • yes but nothing beats the direct emotion expressed in the voice

  • @dannybergson wrong. This beats that on many occasions. But you would be right if you said nothing beats the direct emotion expressed by a good singer.

  • they make their guitars sing ! they can make them cry or cheer however they want...

  • Beautiful! But I still like Andy Mckee better. :)

  • @deguesstheboxingfan

its a tough one between all the candy rat fellas as they all bring something unique to the table but yea i prefer andy too :D

  • @radgemasterben Yeah, but there's no need to compare guitarists, they all play music. :)

  • Tuning anyone? Sounds like dropped b maybe? or is it a baritone?

  • @Kendogge

    Tuning is B F# D F# B D

  • Comment removed

  • pretty enjoyable :)

  • This might the 20th time I am watching this.....It's so beautiful. Words can't express this song...

  • Slidey

  • my favorite candyrat artist; He has the skill to show off and the wisdom to know not to.

  • Comment removed because User has no sense in Music.

  • No words can describe this...Well maybe amazingly beautiful....This brings chills to my spine and tears to my eyes.

  • questo tizio in poco più di 2 minuti ha concentrato tutta la poesia che una chitarra può esprimere...ciluzzi for president!!!!

  • THIS IS FUCKING AWSOME!!!!

Man, you have a fã in BRAZIL! =D

  • Comment removed

  • Don't know if anyone realized this, as it just came to my knowledge, but this man hand builds all his guitars, and has a website where he sells them. They're all upwards of $5000. He must be like a master luthier or something. Quite interesting to find out.

  • ineteristing would be to know what the author things or to whom he addresses this song while playing

  • It's like.... a thousand words never spoken. I dont know. But it truly comes from the heart.

  • no person could ever have a voice like this.......

  • i hate u peter!heaven songs!

  • this isn't standard tuning, is it?!

  • simply beautiful

  • It's taken me 10 mins to get past the first 25 secs! I keep listening over, and over, and over, this is superbly peaceful - Thanks

  • perfectionist !

  • When you here somethinglike this, it just shows that there are acually people who love music with a passion. They don't do it because they can make money or want attention. They just love it.

  • what tuning is this in

  • dude epic win like dman one of the best things i've ever heard.

  • OH MY GOD!

    5/5

  • heavy shit

  • Where can i get the tabs for this?

  • um...candyrat? it would proly be better for you to use your ears...

  • This kind of music makes Ciluzzi original, among the other candyrat guys, too. He dare to use such disharmonies and melodies that are not 'trendy' or common. The only problem is though, that his songs are really short. :D

  • tradeoff

  • @HUNrobar I wouldn't see the shortness of his songs as a problem because many Candyrat artist's songs are a little too long.

  • All of these guys from Candy rat records are amazing guitar players

  • the thing i love about this guy i that he not like all the monster giutarist from "candyrat" (Andy Ross,Antonie Dufor) he playes realiy beautifull music whitout any freaky techniques!!! amazing!

  • So beautifull!

  • i like the dark opening and the dark parts in the mddle it ves it quite a nice touch.. really love it

  • it give* it

  • thankyou man awsome piece ,,and love this style ,,im just learning ,,,peace .....

  • Ya I totally comment on a light when this guy is playing.

  • awesome isnt the word...

  • sounds great

  • This composition is ridiculously awesome.

  • is that a laser pointed on the upper bout at 0:39-0:44?

  • looks like the reflection of a camera or someone's cellphone

  • I think its just the reflection of lights from the studio

  • I'll give all 10 for you amigo.

  • this guy needs more songs on this channel, i cant get enough

  • Me encanta el clima que genera esta cancion, es genial! Suban mas de el. Abrazos desde argentina!!!!!

  • really great man, I am a music lover, I nearly love every music but this is art on a high level! Btw, I play guitar myself...

  • nice intro

  • Ahh Havent seen this for almost a year. IT´s so beautyful. This is what you want to make when you are a guitaris I guess.

  • Wow.... Mind-blowingly calming and awakening at the same time....

    Kudos

  • great!!! 5 stars

  • this is so beatuiful,

  • favorite song of the whole lot. First time i listened to it it caught my attention, after about 7-8 times it's blowing my mind lol.

  • yeah I like him the most out of all the CR guys

  • I love this song!!!!! thanks Peter your my fav from candy rat!!!

  • sounds like this should be part of the call of juarez 2: bound in blood soundtrack heh.. awesome stuff

  • Lyrics arent a must for songs, they're only an addition. Voice is a very beautiful thing but some songs are beautiful enough without words such as this one.

  • This is why Ilike guys like Peter. Normally lyrics to this kind of music are really whiny and bad. I have heard so much stuff that is musically good but the vocals just ruin it. You can really appreciate the music this way.

  • i agree that this song is in a class of its own. but music with lyrics can also be very touching. lyrics can be great poetry. don't take this away form this song, though, it does too good without lyrics to have any added to it to take away from it's beauty

  • well said

  • I love the way this guy plays - he doesn't use any flash and doesn't need to. Just a great sense for melody, structure, and how it an all fit into one instrument. Beautiful!

  • oh my god, does he make his own guitars? That's amazing.

  • Now I consider you an interesting musician, from the guitarists known me. Thank you for Your creation. Unearthly music.

  • Damn right son.

  • it's easy to hind behind the lyrics of songs in order to keep your own destitution a private matter. but some people are honest and straight forward with their lyrical efforts. why put up a wall of words when you can have a hall of melody? this is more than honest, it's pure.

  • because inventing a good melody is a lot harder than writing a text containing 20 sentences:)

  • absolutely. iv'e written both music with lyrics and without. and i find that the music where i don't open up my mouth and let words spill out is so personal to me that it's like another person standing in the room with me. there is more truth in a simple, honest, meaningful melody than in any person. music can't lie but people and their words always will.

  • what an utterly profound and phenomenal thing to say!

  • i don't know. i guess this song just moves me so much, i mean you can literally feel this. it's so sad. . . he has experienced this hurt before, i think that's why people recognize how personal it is. anyway i appreciate the comment. you rock.

  • @mmmhm234 Well, I wouldn't necessarily say this is better than music with lyrics, better than some, obviously, but not all. Instrumental music is DEFINITELY Equal to songs wit lyrics, but you can't really judge lyrical (is that a word? xD) music by saying that it hides the melody, in my opinion :P

  • @Metalrulz7 i wasn't necessarily saying it's better. just in most cases it is more personal. which is true. wasn't saying it was better lol, and i'm pretty sure lyrical is a word cuz my computer didn't spell check it lol.

  • @mmmhm234 Oh okay, I misunderstood you then, :P hahaa cool if it's a word xD

  • @Metalrulz7 it's totally a word brohemoth.

  • @mmmhm234 hahaa brohemoth... I'll have to remember that one :P Peace out dude!

  • ya know this whole production co. has many a great talent as such displayed above but i must say Antoine and Tom have to be my favorite

  • someone asked me why people like this fella, andy mckee, antoine defour, the don ross dont put words or have someone singing to their music. in return i felt compelled to back hand them across the cheek and carried on my business. (some people jus dont understand) am i right??

  • Amen to that!

  • truly beautifull music delivers a meaningfull message without the need for words. beethovan doesnt have lyrics. as a painter paints a thousand words. in alotv cases, by striping away the lyrics it makes the music more honest.

    no what i mean m8?

  • @radgemasterben

Absolutely. I hate it when people say "This song sucks, it needs lyrics" or "He needs to join a band" because a) that'd be musical overload and b) like McKee says, since all these guys tour the world, if they had english lyrics, that would create a language barrier. This way you can have so many different meanings in one song and it can be understood WORLDWIDE.

  • @radgemasterben one of the truest statements ever, bro.

  • right as the sky is blue

  • There is lots of music without any song

  • @radgemasterben Hahahahaahaaa i love you :)

    The music speaks for itself.

  • @radgemasterben You are right, its because the guitar sings to us. It doesnt need lyrics

  • @radgemasterben Yeah. I say to them, if you want lyrics, read poetry.

  • @radgemasterben Lol slap harmonic in their face!

  • @radgemasterben You have no idea how many times I have played an intricate classical piece to some people, only to be asked "But can you play any Johnny Cash!" *shrug* Some people don't enjoy it unless they can slap their knees to it. But those people are also stupid. Heehee... you're so right!!!

  • @radgemasterben you should've said something like: "what? you can't feel music? well thats a shame.."

  • @capfroggy yea ill keep that in my arsenal ready for the next closed minded individual haha

  • this song sings better than most people sing with their voice

  • @radgemasterben yea its cuz guys like this can convey their feelings through their music. i sure as hell can feel it.

  • im looking foward to buying one of those guitars

  • Bittersweet and excellent.

  • I'l tell my family to play this song on my burial as my Last Will

  • Best Song its a sleeper

  • i wanna listen this music on a movie

  • Comment removed

  • outstanding performance from (in my opinion) the best artist on Candyrat... who said a piece had to be flashy to be good :)

  • Correction, he's tuned on A#... :)

  • Such an outstandingly beautiful piece. I just wish this was a lot longer. I love it.

  • Very special!!!

  • Is he tuned on B?

  • i got BBDF#BD from one of the comments here but i havn't varified yet coz i havn't started learning it.

  • WOW HIS NOT HUMAIN ??!!!

  • i agree that this is one of the most beautiful songs ive hard in a long, long time. but its actually not too tough to play. you can download the music from candyrat, i learned it in probably 20 minutes. its awesome

  • yea it doesnt look or sound that hard to play.... but it sounds amazing and impossible to write... at least for me too write anyway
