Gee... Now I see his notes in every rain drop, even in my own tears. Strange feeling to have your heart broken by one of his arpeggios, and then mended with the next one. This song is like a long sigh. You feel sad while hearing it, but relieved and soothed when it fades away. Peter Ciluzzi, you are a dangerous, talented musician.
Hey, I know you asked a couple months ago, but the Tuning for Abyssal is B F# D F# B D He plays it on a baritone guitar, handles low tunings like this quite nicely. But even light strings will be okay, just really floppy.
this guy should do a project with mikeal akerfelt from Opeth, and i love peter makes his own guitars! i'm saving up now so i can buy one of his guitars. their bass sounds soo good
@MrIbanezExclusive No way that's freakin' awesome! Although I really like the Breedlove he plays on too. I really want to get a better than Passport series lol. Maybe I can get sponsored lol... fat chance..
@icantthinkofaname32 I'm not sure why this comment made me laugh as hard as it did. The 30+ positive votes is comedy enough. I pictured some wide eyed, coked out dude stumbling into the CandyRat studio in the middle of Ciluzzi's session like, "WHY ARE YOU IN ANDY MCKEE'S HOUSE?! BLARGH!!"

why would there be dislikes on a song like this? i mean if you don't like this type of music why search for it it? although there is a good like to dislike ratio
@jlrivers24 I guarantee this was inspired by the songs "baby toes" and possibly "two days old" by michael hedges. These are from the" Breakfast in the Field" album.
@dannybergson wrong. This beats that on many occasions. But you would be right if you said nothing beats the direct emotion expressed by a good singer.
Don't know if anyone realized this, as it just came to my knowledge, but this man hand builds all his guitars, and has a website where he sells them. They're all upwards of $5000. He must be like a master luthier or something. Quite interesting to find out.
When you here somethinglike this, it just shows that there are acually people who love music with a passion. They don't do it because they can make money or want attention. They just love it.
This kind of music makes Ciluzzi original, among the other candyrat guys, too. He dare to use such disharmonies and melodies that are not 'trendy' or common. The only problem is though, that his songs are really short. :D
the thing i love about this guy i that he not like all the monster giutarist from "candyrat" (Andy Ross,Antonie Dufor) he playes realiy beautifull music whitout any freaky techniques!!! amazing!

@mmmhm234 Well, I wouldn't necessarily say this is better than music with lyrics, better than some, obviously, but not all. Instrumental music is DEFINITELY Equal to songs wit lyrics, but you can't really judge lyrical (is that a word? xD) music by saying that it hides the melody, in my opinion :P
@Metalrulz7 i wasn't necessarily saying it's better. just in most cases it is more personal. which is true. wasn't saying it was better lol, and i'm pretty sure lyrical is a word cuz my computer didn't spell check it lol.
