I'm 23 years old, nearly debt free, a truck driver and make great money. Enough to be middle class now. I am going to cash flow my education further and move on into nanotechnology because that's what I really want to do and I can do it because I can pay for it and I make enough to take care of my self. You alway need something else more reliable to fall back on. I recommend all the books by Dave Ramsey. They'll change your life.

The problem with kids and college is that they don't do research before hand on what jobs are needed. There heads are full of the do what you want crap. You need to struggle and get a job that supports you before you can do what you want. I hate my job currently but I still do it because I NEED to pay bills.
