I've been playing IL'46 for about 2 yrs. now. The 39 grows on ya. A little weak with wing guns, but maneuverable enough to hang with most at 3000 meters. If you can hit 'em with the 37, bye bye enemy.

You're not enough fast/reactive in the dogfight and that makes you loose a lot of time (less time you spend in a dogfight, longer you will survive). Precise example: at 1:00 , you should roll back few secs before the 190 crossed you, not few secs after. You're trying too much to just pull your stick straight on your adversary.

Another little thing about P39: It lands better with flaps combat. You'll be a little faster, but landings will be much much prettier and easier.
