  • Problem fixxed.. I've 'finger-kicked' the watch on the rear and it started running again.. :)

  • I just followed the instructions in this video (winding>time set>date set>time set). But while setting the date my watch stopped.. Anybody has some suggestions for me? The Russian manual isn't really helping, because I don't speak Russian.. ;p

    Great video btw

  • HISTORY: in time of operation desert storm us army command bought a lot of this wathes

  • @sierra777Russia Yes, I've seen them, every once and a while a used one comes up for sale in the various watch forums.

  • The present hours the east are made only in Russia a city чистополь!!!! In Lithuania NEVER was ЧАСООГО FACTORY!!! The PRESENT HOURS the EAST-KOMANDIRSKY-AMPHIBIAN should be made with an inscription in россии and have the guarantee coupon in Russian!! Be careful of the LITHUANIAN And CHINESE FAKES!!!

  • @romancic09 On mine it is written: "CДEПAHO B POCCИИ". Do you know what it means?

It is an amphibian a blue model with the diver on it like on the very start of this video lower right (only blue slightly lighter blue).

  • @Victortrotska I think they all say that, I can't remember what that means, something like "made under the orders of the ministry" or something?

  • @webWatchWorld Thanks for the answer. I found out on a forum, it means: Made In Russia!

  • @Victortrotska Good tip, thanks!

  • @Victortrotska "СДЕЛАНО В РОССИИ"

    MADE IN RUSSIA

  • @Victortrotska zdyelano v rossyee = made in russia , they use swiss machines and none of parts is made in china

  • thanks so much for this.just got an amphibia and im well pleased with it.automatic, well made and £60

  • I just bought one of these watches and I have no idea how to open the clasp? Is there a secret? Mine has a folding clasp and I can't tell if there's a secret button or something, but once I unfold the clasp I can't figure out how to release the clasp!

  • I don't have one with a bracelet so not sure, sometimes the clasps are really tight, you can almost break a fingernail trying to open it!

  • Excellent video.

I have quite a few Amphibias and Komandirskies, inlcuding all three featured in this review. The Ministry cases are a great option for someone like me with a larger (8") wrist. They wear quite a bit larger. If you're a fan of mesh bracelets, I think they compliment most of the Ministry cases perfectly.

Keep the reviews coming, I really enjoy them!

  • Thanks very much, more reviews coming soon!

  • Where I can buy this red strap to my amphibia?

    Good vid

  • It's a Hirsch strap, should be able to get it at any Hirsch dealer.

  • Very very nice video but i have a one question.

I got some problems with buy rubber strap in size 18mm. Where did you bought this red strap? thanks

  • Lots of 18 mm straps around, you just have to search a bit! See the full review of this watch on webWatchWorld and I also have a listing of different strap retailers.

  • Thanks for the video, it was very helpful. I am mostly into collecting gshocks and casio/seiko dive watches but I think I am about to pull the trigger on a amphibia minister, the one with the black dial/green hands. Cool watches!

  • Thanks, glad you liked it! I have to get a Minister case myself one of these days. I think they use wider straps also, 22 mm, which gives a better selection for strap changes.
