Thanks! It was a lot of work. As much as I'd love to stage a real musical, when your cast only has one day together before the show, you can only do so much. Cest la con. Best of luck with your group!!! I recommend having someone (dr horrible/capn hammer fangirl) hold up cue cards a la rocky horror with some canned audience responses. Those went over well in later shows!

lip synched or not i think this is fucking awsome! i'm actually working with a bunch of people to get a dr. horrible shadowcast here in hollywood :) we have alotta poeple from repo! and rocky horror helpin us out x) so yea...this is awsome!

Well, not to be a hater, I am a big fan of the original, but the actors could have had a more accurate physicality. However, I do like the idea of Dr. Horrible as a stage production.

Im not insulting the show in any way when i say this, but i just love how when freeze ray starts to play the dr gets off stage and then this obviously heavier guy comes on the stage LOL

I know the idea to make this available on the internet for free to the public was what made this film what is was, but I hope everyone involved in this film from the writers and actors to the crew and those that helped in any way, now make a ton of money from this. In a day where our love of a film comes and goes as fast as the web can carry it, this could become the first modern cult classic on par with The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Little Shop of Horrors.

Dr. Horrible would be great as a high school musical. The Doctor could conceivably stay on stage and sing while dancers silently dance the laundromat scene. I'll have to look at the original video again and figure out how to translate it to the stage.

I hate how Billy and Penny were just standing there looking confused while the song went on and they waited for their dancing part. They look unenthusiastic, too. I think they need more direction, more movement, a bigger picture of energy. It's the problem with some musicals...sometimes, they just walk aorund and wave their arms around because they didn't have any specific directions.

It was at Dragoncon in 2008 and the reason it was lipsynced was because the microphones quit working at the last minute.

Man, this was one of my favourite moments of DragonCon. It was totally amazing. The chemistry and cheer in that room was brilliant, everyone knowing everything and laughing at every joke... Best fan gathering ever.

Oh man why isn´t Dr. Horrible so known in germany... I thing Dr. Horrible is the best Dr. after House and Who xD... but maybe there will be a german version and then all germans will sing these songs... Me and a friend are the only ones who are singing this songs at school and everybody is watching at us and they might think: Are they crazy xD Vut howver... sorry for my bad english and great performance

My roommates & I had fantastic seats for the show. It was amazing! I believe Wayne is working on getting two shows next year, so there's a much better chance of the crowds being accomodated:)

I think the dialogue is performed by themselves, but the songs are obviously taken from the show.

Yeah - when they keep inexplicably looking off screen, they're watching me, on the other side of the stage, in the lab, singing with my freeze ray, but the camera only filmed half the stage for some reason.
