  • Great film, enjoyed it very much. Thanks to the filmmakers

  • Being from Carmichaels, growing up and attending the coal event now for over 30 years, this is a honor to have Patricia Heaton do a documentary. I was able to attend the festival that year. My niece was the crown baer, Katlyn Allison who is now 10 and planning to be coal queen 2016. Good Luck Katlyn.....My daughter Parker Pratt was the crown baer for 2007. She on the other hand, if the talent was riding Quads, she would win in 2020! Maybe we can take it outside that year!! Good Luck Parker.

  • I grew up not far from there and have always admired Sarah Rush. She's still got that absolutely honest sweetness, just like when she was a Coal Queen. I wish her all the great things in the future.

  • I think it's interesting that Carmichaels made it in a documentary that made it to Hollywood! I live in Smithfield which is like 20 mins south of Uniontown and I think it's great that this video is out there.

  • Why isn't this video out there more? This DVD is awesome!!! Sarah is so very delightful, and the visit into this small town with a big spirit rings out with all the love and heart we all dream about.
