  • Lam Morrison's version is better.

  • Never heard anyone play this on guitar. It's an erethral song and Jeff does it justice. Wish it were longer.

  • beck is a real musician, a real guitar player for guitar players not a shredder, not an average guitarist...so don't make that kind of comments lex, please

  • keep your depressing coments to yourself

  • agree with you jimmy9803 :) still like him tho

  • Jeff Beck is my favorite guitarist but I've always thought that since around the time of Flash/Guitarshop he's been more interested in doing tricks with his guitar than playing actual concerted improvised guitar solos. But when he does actually play a solo he still kills everyone.

  • Beck is a great guitarist, but i agree with Lex1 on this 1,this song sux, maybe its becuz i hate the film and munchkins...

  • Wish I could play like that "loaf of bread."

  • Lol...i never said jeff isn`t a 'master' 'genius' etc..but it bored me to tears..apart from maybe 3 or 4 songs..and he has as much charisma as a loaf of bread

  • A massive let down. Lex-Lex. You must be a blues musician. I have been at performances given by buddy guy and by jeff beck. Buddy Guy (with all respect) is sloppy in his style and raw in his sound. In his defence BB King said Buddy guy was the next big thing in blues. Buddy guy is a good showman but Mr. Beck is a master in his craft. We all could benifit from his abilities. From a fellow musician and blues freak in California.

  • Yo! If I could join in..I saw Jeff at Liverpool, and I can honestly say that, after listening to the 'hype', I FINALLY know why! He was on fire. Beck has never played to the galleries, so to speak, but that he is a master of his instrument is, for me, beyond question. I was literally awestruck. One of the few times I've felt I've been in the presence of true greatness. Yet he remains humble and to enjoy playing with his peers.(Who, incidently, are queing up to play with him!)Cheers. K

  • I was there! My word, lex1guitar1player and driftinblues how can you say that?! He plays stuff from his fusion repetoire and people accuse him of merely "doing his thing"... well some people do actually like fusion! Vinnie was on fire that night.

  • Did i give the impression I didn't enjoy it? Beck was awesome.. its just about "what he does" (is be awesome)!!

  • i was at gig..buddy guy was amazing...jeff beck massive let down

  • Well I was delighted with Guy too. Not sure what people expected from Beck but I thought he delivered a show which is just about "what he does".. read my myspace blog http://blog.myspace.com/durtysock

  • I've seen Beck a few times. How can you possibly say he was a let down? The guy is a guitar monster, bar none. Jeff is just being Jeff - whether he's playing "Ain't Superstitious" or "Day in the Life."

  • @lex1guitar1player Id like to see you Go and play up there INSTRUMENTALLY, its so easy to talk shit but no one really goes up there and no one really knows what it means to play up there with all the fuckin pressure man
