If they gave 3500$ discount for a brand new car it's A LOT more than you could get by selling this old junk at my country. Also you don't know what hidden defects this car had. And it's not like C4C is completely destroying this car. Some parts can be used as spares. I think the owner didn't do anything wrong.

Plus this model doesn't have any real collection value except for Audi fanatics.

My Mazda 323F Astina from 1990 was running nearly 380.000 km without any trouble. My 626 4-door-sedan 2.0i from 1998 still runs since 187.000 km, only the exhaust-system I had to change a few weeks ago. Last year we bought a new Mazda 5 2.0 MZR with full options, because we had a simillar like c4c in germany. So we gave away the old 323F.

But now people can use the spareparts.

Oh my got, what the hell should this be? Must they kill all the engines of these cars? In Germany we just give the cars back to the dealers. Until my father died he had an Audi 100 2,3 E with all options from 1990 till 2003. Even when this car was somewhat troublesome it doesn't deserve treatment like this. We sold it to a russian dealer for export to russia. The body and engine were still without any mistakes after only 105.000 km. But the electric was scap.
