I need this soap so bad, and I am about to start my transition to natural hair. My flakes and flare ups are so bad at times, jeeze. I don't want my hair to dry out but I see so many natural videos that use a lot of healthy oils that just might cause more occurring flare ups. So I am going to need a healthy poo to use every so many days. Can't until you r in mass production. Need Help Now! LOL! Peace!!!
The soap is on sale right now in my Etsy store. Please find my video entitled: My Etsy shop is now open/I'm not happy. You will find my shops link there :o)
I live in Texas, and the humidity is high out here lol My Husband uses my SD soap and he has not had increase flakes from this soap or an unexpected flare up. He remains flake free ( when he remember to use the soap lol)
From what I read about this, it is NOT the olive oil that is used to GROW the Malassezia yeast. The yeast is cultivated by scientists in lab without the use of olive oil. They mix the olive oil with the malassezia yeast to deliver it to test subjects. So the oil alone does NOT aggravate the yeast. and because of this it is safe to use Olive oil in soaps and other beauty products.
So far preliminary reports are excellent. They are reporting smaller flakes (which is a big deal cause flake size in SD people are HUGE) to almost regular dandruff dusting. No more itching and the redness from the tight scalp going away. :o)
Hi Desaundrea, im in the uk and have just come across your soap on here. I have seb derm on my face and nothing the doctor has given me helps. Would this soap help i am at my witts end with this condition now. Could i buy some?
I have an order I have to ship to the UK to a friend. I am told by my local post office that it will cost me about 30 american dollars to ship international orders depending on weight of course. As soon as my testers give me feed back I will be mass producing the soap for sale. International orders will cost more though :o( Sorry but american dollars are just rubbish in the UK lol
There is good reason to believe that this disease can be caused by diet which consists of high content of saturated fats, processed sugar and junk food. Do you take a lot of any of those? Perhaps cutting down on it will help.
If you just watched this video then you would know that I myself do not have SD. And I did say in the video that scientists are leaning toward diet bing a reason for SD occuring in some patients. But they have also noted that, even in a control patient who has changed their diet, SD symptoms still occur. This means that thee is too much of the malassezia furfur yeast in the body. therefore a change of diet often does not work alone.
One tester that has been using the soap for a week now noted that the flaking went away, but the redness was still present, though it didn't itch and was not tight. This is a good thing. But one week isn't enough time to see if it will continue to work. But for now preliminary test is looking good. :o)
I sure will. I was going to do that with m,y goat milk soap, but it was too soft at the time so I could only roll a ball. I think my kids would like the ball soap though lol Either they will like them or use it like a bolo from knighthood days and hit each other with it lmbo :o)
Yeah I keep getting that as well lol Mainly from my son and my youtube family. I am seriously considering it, but I really think it will be a hobby. :o)
i'm really loving your work. i'm inspired to start making my own lotion bars and soap. so i ordered 5 lbs of unrefined shea and i'm going to order butters and EOs from creative creations :) yay!
i've been ordering anita grant products but i'd like to make my own. how do you make the shampoo bar? does it take lye? i'm trying to avoid it all costs...the stuff just scares me. if it does contain lye, could i just get a goat's milk melt and pour soap and add what i want?
You need to understand something BEFORE you start this soap thing. Everything that you can think of that has to do with soap (natural homemade soaps anyway) has lye in it. This lye is used to combine oils and water and make a chemical reaction through heat that produces soap. Your melt and pour soap started from a lye soap base. But yes you can just buy the melt and pour glycerine soap and add what you want to it in proportions.
Natural shampoos are made with pectin(usually from apples) and a base of soap that was made with lye. Castille soap? it is olive oil, water and lye. These are the facts and they are undisputable. Lye in the case of natural soap, making is safe once the soap is cured either through my oven process or the crockpot process or through cold process. Not to mention it is a natural product itself. Lye is made from water dripping through wood ashes. HTH
Thanks so much!! That is what i needed to veriy. I plan on buying the goat's milk melt and pour and add shea, avocado oil and a couple of other goodies. huggies
Go for what you know :o) Just be careful on your oil amounts, usually a teaspoon or two of each oil is all that is required for melt and pour soap. If you add too much oil they will rise through the surface of your soap making it slimy. :o)
Thank You :o) LOL Hubby said he married me just for my mind, cause I am always thinking. I told him I think he married me for my booty and my mind was just a perk lol
OMG!! You are too cute and your channel is awesome!! You have got me now addicted to making whipped boby butters, scrubs and soaps! I so love this!. I got my unrefined shea butter today (why was I dancing through the house as I was so happy.lol..lol..). Quick question: I orderded 5 lbs of unrefined shea. Where do you store the shea to keep the self life long as possible?? Thanks in advance!

the best test you can do with a humidity around 30 -35 with cold temperatures or a really high humidity above 70 with temperartures above 29 degrees
