so weird seeing how other bands march :S when the Burlington Teen Tour Band marks time, our feet come all the way up our calves.. pace is 22.5 inches.. our horn angles (even when we have no instrument and are using our arms) are parallel to the ground and when at attention, our heels are together and our toes are apart to keep balance. Though it's kinda a city run, military style band, so things might be different ;P lol

I play trumpet in band and you might have been taught something different but generally, the trumpets and other instruments that are similar should actually have the bell up more so the sound travels up towards the stands and not straight, towards below the stands.

I'm sorry if that didn't make sense. =/

0.o nice video, only recommend working on your center of balance, when ur marking time, ur bodies kinda sway a lil bit, but this marching style makes it hard to fix, just pretend like someone grabbed you by your spine and lifted you up, making you feel weightless (so in other words... stand up and lift more) :)

hah, i have a pair of that slip ons.. but when i march i have a pair of marching shoes i use... they look like the shoes on "drumline" so shinny you can literally see your self in them..
