I've yet to see an AMV with mixed tracks.. the last video I saw with mixed tracks.. the guy used a.. how do you say it.. it was scratching on a vynil follwed by a "samurai champloo" you should try that... and lastly.. yeah.. subtitles can be annoying.. it really hinders visual aspects...

I recommend it with the video... if you could... get someone to mix the songs together.. so everything runs alot smoother... its great.. don't get me wrong.. just and idea to throw at you..
