@pianomusicart Hi, I have a giant Euro-Reef skimmer that I skim very wet to house sewage and top off with partial strength salt water. For tank build information google mobert and mermaid and my Reef Central tank build question will come up. A search of mobert and wet skimming explains the benefits of wet skimming.

@melissacarl2002 If it went up gradually, probably nothing. It is the sudden changes that does damage.

everything would die instantly and you would be sad. you may need anti depressants to pull yourself out of the rut.

kiddin, salinity is so easy to control and the changes are so gradual from evap that it usualy wont do anything. I try to run my reef at 1.024

Is their a possible way to make a 30 inch compact light much more brighter then just getting another light fixture? my xenia corals are coming back to life?

@tvshowuploader3 I doubt if you can add more lights to an existing light fixture but I don't know. Xenia is one of the lower light animals. If they are thin and stretched out looking, they probably don't have enough light.

HI what kind of skimmer do u run in this tank? a super skimmer 65 is fine for my bubble anemone in a reef tank? is it ok if I can put my super skimmer hang in the back of the tank for my bubble anemone? I might get one tomorrow and I am curious it will die again can u help me thanks? koralia power head 1 and 2 is fine for my 30 gallon reef tank?

thanks. They are mobile but they stay on the right side of the tank because the return pump is aimed straight down the back so they don't like to cross.

I put maybe 27 clowns in. They are very hard to count now but I think I have at least 23. Thanks.
