  • Thia is incredibly talented with an amazing voice. We watched several of the American Idol Live Tour 2011 concerts. The shows and the idols have been awesome. Met Thia. She's so nice and sweet...very poised for her age. Love her !

  • She's a filipina She's not an american It doesn't mean If you were born in that country That was your civil status. Insecurity...........

  • she's a FILIPINA right?

  • @idolista1 Filipina-american, a filipino born in the USA

  • She is really beautiful. And her smile is just so sweet..

  • We werre born on the exact same day o.o

and my name is Ty (Thai) haha...

  • hmmm....know what??i think the worst singer are the 90% who auditioned american idol

  • OH MY GOODNESS. I HAD GOOSEBUMPS WITH THIS ONE.. SHE IS REALLY MUSIC-INTELLIGENT.. THE FIRST FILIPINO SINGER I SALUTE.. THIS ONE IS REALLY GOIN FAR.. CAREER WISE.. THATS IT. ,

  • FAR BETTER THAN IRENE CARA'S VERSION. , THIS ONE GREAT ARRANGEMENT. ,SALUTE TO THIS GIRL. ,

  • people are saying that she's better than selena gomez!! no way sorry but selena is better ! She is a good singer though :)

  • SHE FOLLOWED ME ON TWITTTERR !!!!! :D MY TWITTER ACCOUNT IS @DASHGlobal !!!

  • i love performances void of gimmicks. nothing but the best intrsument of all... nothing but the voice. one of my favourites of all ten seasons.

  • no where close to Irene Cara... not bad though...

  • thia you are so cute and the last seconds before this video ends, the camera aimed at your younger sister i assumed and she is cute as well.

  • hey! i remember her from america's got talent..

  • smooth and soothing.

Haley fan loving This and Thia.

I'll be back to hear it again.

    Thumbs up!

She needs you on faxo now to beat out scotty.

  • It was extemely annoying how they put so much emphasis on Thia and "being 15." Prior to this live show on March 3, Thia turned 16 way before on January 30 - I know it was probably for TV entertainment, but I would be annoyed if I were her. It's almost like they forget that the auditions take place way before the first live show. It even continued in finals! I do recall one moment where she backed it up and explained she was 16, but I can't remember when.

  • She needs to choose cool songs instead of crappy cheesy longing love songs from girly broadway musicals. How about some Led Zepplin?

  • @brindlebriar how about Aerosmith? Look for the american Idol tour 2011 in sacramento...She was paired with Jacob lubsk for an Aerosmith song..and its was awesome

  • LOVE Thia's VOICE!!!!! She's very TALENTED!!!

  • if you're gonna do a broadway song, you cannot make it THIS poppy. she ruined it with all the extra stuff

  • what song is this?

  • wow love her voice

  • this is good

  • shes not the best but shes good =]

  • Essa menina tem uma das vozes mais lindas que eu já ouvi na vida!

  • She sings good whereas she's a bit ugly ;)

  • @malilisse64 each to its own, but are you sure you're not brainwashed by Hollywood movies? She's probably the prettiest one in the top 13!

  • @turon733

I don't think, I can recognize a pretty girl, and Botox doesn't impress me! ;) But to each his own indeed!

  • @malilisse64 lol, ok so you dont make a lot of sense...(botox?)...had I known that you were kind of...."Off", I wouldn't even have wasted my time...good stuff though! lol

  • @malilisse64 Wow....I sense a huge jealousy..lol.

  • @NoBoasting

    REALLY NOT :)

  • @malilisse64 To someone who can say cruel things to a young kid or anyone especially with someone who is by far more beautiful than you are inside and out.... I definitely think you do have a huge jealousy and is very insecure.... Only insecure people like yourself can be so cruel to others.

  • @NoBoasting

Everybody in the world judge all the time, but you can think what you want. And I don't think I'm cruel, Im just telling mi opinion, it's a right.

  • I don't know. They always give her WAY too much reverb on the microphone. I think they're trying to make her voice seem more powerful than it is.

  • shes kampampangan

  • rotflmao at rabbit saying shes better than charice , u must of been beating ur meat to ur grannies ears

  • wonderful

  • parang bias sila komo ba ballad yung forte ng singer di na sya magaling puro nag baballad ung mga unang natanggal

  • better than charice

  • when she starts to walk forward 1:06 1:07 1:08 the piano matches her 3 steps. Proves how awesome her musicality is.

  • Thia's an amazing singer, I loved all of her perfomances... she has an amazing, and unique voice.. She deserved to get far in the competition, but her song choices weren't the best, and also because right now all teenager girls control the whole competition :/

  • i love thia

  • Ogod. Her voice is so mature and just .. ah. I like it.

  • i hated idol after she left

  • @eboooOooo008 agree

  • @xxLifeLessSeriousxx stop it who cares. If i was super talented I would not tell anybody I was of Filipino descent, sometimes it hurts you more than it helps. sorry, but that's just how i feel.

  • proud to be a filipino

  • @TheJohnarvin what's that got to do with thia? >.<

  • bravo thia!

  • top 3 shulda been THIA,HALEY,CASEY!!! top 2 Casey, Haley. winner.. HALEY!

  • @Gagafan26 no haley sux pia should have been the winner

  • great tone, feelings not there yet. Sorry guys, Irene Cara still my fav. for this song.

  • @bryanpaul2010 Listen carefully to Randy Jackson's comments "the mark of a great singer, this is a singing competition, is the quality of the tone of the voice ... not the runs or the power, the quality of the tone ... you're tone when we first her you remind me so much of the late great Michael Jackson ...... This is what hot sing is about!!!" - I'm finished, I'm done, proved my point.

  • her face seem charice !

  • It would've been more fair if Thia, Lauren, and Pia were paired together, since all of the reviews said those three were the best. Actually the ones I read were all about Thia and Pia.

  • @turon733 Look for Thia Luren and Pia's American idol tour where they sung Katy Perry's Firework in Harmony

  • One thing I like about Thia - everyone else;s performance was trying too hard - Thia kept it simple, and when your own simplicity goes a long way, that's when you know you are truly special.

What pisses me off, is in the results show, the AI producers obviously paired Lauren and Pia together, trying to push them into America's face as they are the one. Thia's performance stuck out, was different, and was nothing we've really seen before. Lauren we've seen In Carrie Underwood. Pia..c'mon.

  • One thing to notice ... Watch Stephen Tyler ... it's weird as he's complimenting Thia on her perfect pitch ... but ... look at him rotating his pencil up and down and up and down ... This gesture is one of nervousness and kind of angry ... his favorite is Lauren and he's nervous that Thia was going to blow everyone else away. I've watched Lauren and all the girls over and over again and since this is a "singing competition" Thia by far is better than all even Charice who tends to shout too much!

  • @bli38 Very subjective and biased judgment -- everyone is entitled to their opinion and I'll say mine. Your judgment is unfair, if not stupid, for interpreting Tyler's movements and for comparing her with Charice...Watching the video of Charice and this one, you made Thia look like an ANT! Thanks for doing that, bastard! I love Thia and love her for the way she is.

  • wow,,,i thought there were no more homoerectus or homohabilis nowadays but wait, there's this MikeSaurus still alive and posting on YouTube being racist crazy,,,will anyone from his race please educate him that racism is a form of dumbness??just be careful, for he might bite.... yeah thanks,,,,

  • Randy at 3:33 "...this is a singing competition...." NOT!!

  • a bit of a nit pick - but Stephen Tyler was exaggerating when he said her pitch was perfect. I noticed 2 small spots where she went off pitch...but almost perfect.

  • she said that her idol was MJ but that is not true at all her inspiration was charice pempengco!

  • wow !!!

  • your the best Thia!!!!

  • best version ever

  • when you see this vid from 1:25 you would think she is MUUUUCH older

  • i wud kill for a voice like that

  • Comment removed

  • Thia, you have a very good voice quality, hwag kang susuko at mawawalan ng pag-asa bata ka pa, sali ka ulit. Like charice ilang beses din syang natalo pero tingnan mo siya ngayon sikat na. Try your best to speak and learn our language, kapag bumisita ka sa Philippines kapag nagsalita ka in front of them kahit mix ang Tagalog at English, lalo kang tatanggapin ng mga tao. Piliin mo ang kanta na bagay sa iyo, and ask some advice from other singers

  • @maxie7946 gtfo with your ugly pinoy language

  • @MikeSaurus stfu dumb skank, your probably some fool with no life and have nothing better to do. get a life

  • @Itsben619 fuck off ugly pinoy

  • @MikeSaurus freaking racist bitch!

  • @lalagirl211 FREAKING PINOY

  • @MikeSaurus yuuuup i probably right since you have nothing better to say, you are some dumb skank with no life.... oh yeah why were you watching this video and reading these comments since you hate filipinos? oh yeah thats right cus you have nooooo life!!!

  • @Itsben619 because pinoy people are so patriotic and it's annoying. learn how to be humble.. just because someone's from the philippines or someone mentions the philippines it doesn't give you the right for you to spam 'PinoyyY pridee!!!zzz". learn how to be humble

  • @MikeSaurus yeaah you dont have life since you pay so much attention to us... just ignore it if it bothers you dumbass

  • @Itsben619 no. i want to watch thia megia but i don't want to see 'pINOY PRIDE' on every single fucking comment. i know that you guys have a poor country, a bad government and whatnot but it doesn't mean that you have to overly-praise all 'celebrities' that are even somewhat related to the philippines

  • @MikeSaurus then dont read the comments.... how simple is that? and have you ever been to our country.. probably not... like i said your a dumbass that just believes what other people tell you about our country

  • @MikeSaurus If sports fans are allowed to proudly support their home teams, then why can't the same logic be applied here when Filipinos support those who represent their home country? Unless you can prove to yourself that you have never praised any person based on fanaticism and patriotism, then I would think twice before making such an ignorant statement. Thank you.

  • @kieregaard14 I have but Fillipinos take it to such a large extreme. For example, in a Brittany Spears music video (Piece of Me) she mentions the Phillipines ONCE. and the top comment is "PINOY PrIDEE!!3@!@!" like honestly? i know your country is poor but honestly you guys need to chill

  • @MikeSaurus Oh and Americans (as well as other nationalities) don't take representation to an extreme? Haven't you heard of the sports riots in Los Angeles over the Lakers or the ones in San Francisco over the Giants, where there was rampant looting, arson, and property destruction? And stop emphasizing that our country is poor since there is no logical correlation between a country's economic status and its inclination to fanaticism and national pride.

  • @MikeSaurus The comments you make only underscore why many people consider Americans, like yourself, as ignorant and culturally insensitive. By the way, on the topic of financial stability, America pretty much failed on that aspect alone for making dumb economic decisions, the consequences for which may just lead America, along with other developed countries, into a very deep recession.

  • @kieregaard14 i love how you just assume that i'm from america.. however i'm not so all that effort you put into that comment has resulted to nothing so that means i win and dumb pinoys loose yay!!!

  • @MikeSaurus Lol whatever you are, it still doesn't change how pathetic and unintelligent you sound.

  • @kieregaard14 at least im not filipino

  • @MikeSaurus Which would be a good thing for the reputation of our nationality. I don't think "pinoy pride" would be appropriate in your case. It would be called "pinoy shame." Keep em coming man. I don't suppose you could dig a deeper hole than you already have for yourself with your comments :)

  • @kieregaard14 you think i actually care lmao... you're putting your heart out for your comments and i dont even have enough decency to type in full sentences.. i dont care. fillipinos need to calm down with their pride because no one cares. filipinos: BACK DOWN and SHUT UP and be like normal people thanks byye pce out

  • @MikeSaurus lol you're right about one thing. I don't think you care at all - at least not at how uneducated and inane you sound in this thread and on the countless others here on YouTube. For anybody who's bored and wants to see the moments wasted by pathetic low-lifers, like MikeSaurus, who have nothing better to do than to harass people either just for the sake of doing so or because of their masked insecurities, please visit MikeSaurus page for your own personal entertainment.

  • @kieregaard14 why are filipinos ugly

  • @MikeSaurus haha man. aren't you one insecure and worthless miscreant. not only is your attitude unflattering and your mental aptitude (or lack thereof) pitiful, but I also bet that your face reflects the aforesaid characteristics very closely...in response to "why are filipinos ugly?" - same answer to the question "why is MikeSaurus educated, successful, and talented?" oh wait.

  • @kieregaard14 why are filipinos so ugly? why do they talk baby talk? why does their food smell? why is their country so poor? why are they obsessed with tv? why do they have big squishy noses? why are their eyes squinty? why are they so patriotic? why do they smell bad? why do they talk like this 'naifa ajidso jnfdasid bingiaisda'? why are they so loud? why are they so poor? why are they faggots?

  • @MikeSaurus lol you are too funny and as equally pathetic. Get a life bro and an education while you're at it. :)

  • @kieregaard14 i am getting an education tyvm... i know that the education system in the phillipines has low standards, here in canada you are required to have an education until grade 12 and almost all jobs need a college or university degree... i know the phillipines is a poor country and most women are prositutes / tryhard singers but it's different here in canada. i hope that clears it up for ya ;)

  • @MikeSaurus Well even if you are getting an education there, it certainly doesn't sound like it lol. I've only been here in the U.S. for 7 years and yet it's quite sad that I have more of a mastery of the English language than someone like you who has been born privileged with an education system that is supposed to surpass the "low" educational standards in the Philippines. Clearly, Filipino students there in Canada must outrank you in your school, what with your ignorance and all :).

  • @MikeSaurus By the way, there has not a single comment that you've made in this site that speaks even an iota of humility and sensitivity. Usually, those types of people are ignorant and anti-social with problems interacting normally with others in daily life due to low-levels of self-esteem that are compensated through some form of ego-power trips usually by acting like a douchebag on a website where years of repressed and hurt feelings are unleashed.

  • @MikeSaurus But that's okay, those people are usually beneath than say a poor tryhard singer/prostitute from third world countries like the Philippines :)

  • @kieregaard14 um.. no

  • @MikeSaurus lol um yes...I can definitely see you as that anti-social, insecure, and talentless douchebag who has trouble making friends in real life and instead decides to seek attention by creating a virtual life on websites like YouTube. Get some therapy my friend before you become a worthless sociopath.

  • @MikeSaurus like I said in your page, don't overeat or cut yourself too much, okay?

  • @kingjohnpascual like i said. can you strap a nuclear bomb to yourself. fly to the fillipines and blow everyone up. k thanks

  • @MikeSaurus Lol it's spelled Philippines. Pathetic ignorant overweight bandgeek. Interesting how you would think about blowing things up. I knew you were an anti-social sociopath on the making. K thanks :)

  • @kieregaard14 i heard that people in the philippines eat nasty bugs and food... no wonder they're fat D:

  • @MikeSaurus Lol yes because bugs are definitely saturated heavily with fat and carbs. Had any french fries lately from costco, you lame, pathetic, and feebleminded bandgeek whom no one in real life pays attention to?

  • @kieregaard14 but why do people from the phillipines have ugly faces

  • @MikeSaurus Haha you're going to resort to that again? Must you always talk about ugliness and fatness? Is it because you exhibit both characteristics yourself? Ever heard of Enrique Iglesias and Vanessa Hudgens, both of whom are half-Filipinos and who are among the most attractive people out there constantly admired by men and women? Lol don't worry about your ugly face. At least, it matches your personality and complements your miserable social life :)

  • Comment removed

  • @MikeSaurus I hope you don't pull a racist sociopath hate crime there on Spruce Grove. I wouldn't be surprised if you did, given your bigotry and all. But then again, I think you're too much of an anti-social bandgeek who would rather eat ice cream, play video games, and racially harass people online for some compensatory self-esteem boost. Get a girlfriend man. Oh wait you probably can't. You might just be among the 20% of Canadians who interracially marry women from the Philippines!

  • @kieregaard14 First of all, im 15 years old... I have a long time to get married or even think of marriage. I don't understand why you're getting so butthurt over my opinion. I'll restate my opinion one more time just to make things clear. I do not appreciate how on almost all videos that involve the Phillipines, even in the most subtle way, that half of the comments are 'Pinoy pride'... You guys aren't oppressed or discriminated against so there's no need for that.

  • @MikeSaurus Why am I not surprised that you're 15 years old? Only someone as ignorantly juvenile as you could make sociopathic and racist remarks on various videos here on YouTube. "You guys aren't oppressed or discriminated against so there's no need for that" Are you retarded? Your comments have done exactly just that. God knows how much more racial hatred you have towards other ethnic groups.

  • @MikeSaurus So you can go away and shut your fucking mouth you overzealous, pretentious freak.

  • @MikeSaurus And for your intellectual enrichment, Filipinos have long been oppressed and discriminated. So why don't you learn your history instead of snacking on french fries, listening to emo music, and playing the clarinet like the pathetic lame and socially awkward bandgeek that you are? Aight? Peace.

  • @kieregaard14 oh my god. first of all, i'm a recovering anorexic and sometimes i do have intense cravings so your comments are really condescending. i do not listen to 'emo' music or assosciate myself with 'emos' so if you're going to judge me based on the videos i make, at least me an effort to use some common sense. and fillipinos have never been discriminated or oppressed.. (at least where i live) So stop your bitching about how fillipinos are the 'under-dogs' you crazy elitist cunt

  • @MikeSaurus Eat this. h t t p ://manettesnow . com/Discrimination . html. Don't ever think racism is not a sensitive issue. Do yourself a favor and get over your "anorexia" and your ignorance of history. If you haven't noticed, people have died because of ignorant racists like you. And don't expect to garner sympathy with your so-called recovery from anorexia. Countless children are starving to death in many parts of the world. So get over yourself.

  • @kieregaard14 THAT WAS IN FUCKING 1920 IN THE US NOT CANADA. FOR FUCKS SAKE. THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I SAID IN MY PREVIOUS COMMENT. It's ironic how you're calling me ignorant when you think that anorexia is a choice... and i'm not looking for sympathy. i was clearing up all the accusations that you said about me. dumb pinoy bitch. get you and your disgusting, patriotic bitches away from me you dumb, parasitic cancer bitches

  • @MikeSaurus Why don't you enrich yourself with some food for thought, pun intended, and educate yourself you pathetic excuse for a person. The Current Situation of Filipino Youth in Canada: Family re-unification, young Filipino women, and racism - "h t tp://w w w .ccnc.ca/accop/index.php?section=content/essays/essayMain.php&sub=content/essays/charleneSayo/charleneSayo.s h t m l".

  • @kieregaard14 and also.. at my church there's around 20-30 filipino people who attend that just moved to Canada 2 or 3 years ago so enough of your 'research' i know things first-hand which is way better than your assumptions.

  • @MikeSaurus Yeah you're one to talk about not bullying other people because of their race right? Lol you really think the research and news reports meticulously conducted by Canadian Richmond News and the Asian Canadian Culture Online Project are the mere generalizations and assumptions in this case compared to your apparent "firsthand" knowledge on the issue, when you initially didn't even know there was a history of racism against Filipinos in the US and Canada? Fat chance.

  • @MikeSaurus Yeah a points test is always the rational and logical thing to do. Were you even aware that similarly geared points test in the west have been designed in purpose primarily to prevent unwanted ethnic groups from obtaining citizenship and entry, hundreds of years before your neanderthal brain was even half-developed? Want to think twice about your knowledge and "logic" on the issue here?

  • @kieregaard14 Oh.. so I guess that it makes more sense to accept all applicants. Maybe we should write personalized invitations with decorative stickers. And just for the record, how old are you?
