  • Blasphemy never sounded so good.

  • My mom sent me a Hasa Diga Eebowai shirt to cheer me up when I was sad at college.

    I'm attending college in Rome.

I had to walk past the Vatican to pick up the shirt from the post office.

When I got home, my eye swelled up for days.

Eebowai said Hasa Diga right back!

  • This just goes to show what you can accomplish when you take some taboo chances.

For other great results, see the Hunchback of Notre Dame.

  • "...IN THE CUUUUUUUNT"

Hahahahha, That part is just so unnecessary. XD

Makes it all the funnier though. ^_^

  • I'm going to hell. But it's worth it.

  • @Kira1Lawliet Hell doesn't exist, so it's very worth it.

  • I'm offensive, and I find this Mormon.

  • I love this musical! It is soooooo American. Love you guys.

  • My very religious mother made the best O-face during this song. Then she laughed uncontrollably for the rest of the musical.

  • @DeltaKilo3 my mom was offended too but she liked it too XD

  • I feel like I should feel bad for singing this all the time but I regret nothing

  • brilliant!

  • Fuck u god for giving us Justin bieber and jersey shore

  • @DramaKaw Cool story bro. Your personal opinion and twist on the bible.

  • @defleppard2 dont 4get miley cyrus

  • Greatest song of all time

  • I recently became athiest, and remembered this song from a while back. I ruched to my computer, played and sang at the top of my lungs!

  • @customgamerAMD I refer you to the song: "I believe." Though I respect your skepticism about a deity.

  • @customgamerAMD More power to you bro.

  • I think god is a faggot thumbs up if you agree

  • @1337sirshamus I think faggot is not a nice word to say.

  • @1337sirshamus im glad you think god is a bundle of sticks :D

  • @1337sirshamus normally would never thumbs up this... But i feel like trolling today so why not lol

  • @93Randomname YES.

  • Fuck you, God.

  • Why do I hear Sebastian?! XD

  • @RosesNightengales Sebastian sounds more Jamaican to me, but the deep voice is definitely very similar.

  • the costa ship sank near shore. hasa diga eebowai.

  • I'm religious and I love this song so give me undue props! No, I'm not really religious, and religion is fucking stupid.

  • I am general Buttfucking Naked

  • I dont think it really means F**k you God.......or does it?

  • Im Catholic so this is offensive, but it is so catchy I can't stop listening.Sometimes I start singing it........

  • @BrodwayCraze That's my problem too xD I'm Christian and on one hand I'm like "That's awful to say!" but on the other hand "It's so catchy and funny"

  • @BrodwayCraze I KNOW!! u kno who shared this song to me? My CATHOLIC friends!!

  • Man, I almost pissed my panties on the Eugene O'Neil last December! The Book Of Mormon is a must see! It's simply hilarious!

  • And if either of you lays a hand on herrrrrrrrrrrr! I'll give you all my aids!

  • Where could I find the instrumental? I wanna cover this

  • for 500 dollars a ticket I better get more than a blowjob

  • I am mormon... and i don't find this offensive, but a little disrespectful. Using the words God and Cunt in the same sentence seems wrong.

  • @xdisturbed96x you just did it, too :)

  • @tm123456 ahahaha nice catch:)

  • @xdisturbed96x yet it feels so right for those africains to say with all there aids :P

  • @xdisturbed96x You reacted to the God and cunt in the same sentence but not the insult directed at God?

  • @TheAtheologian Cunt is a filthy word to many...It's so dirty word.

  • @sugarpandapaws08 Yes but it wasn't actually directed at God :P By the rationality in reacting to a filthy word anywhere near a sentence then "God is awesome and Satan is a cunt" would be offensive et al. to the religious.

  • @TheAtheologian Yea, but I guess it's preference. Some people don't want g-dang said but have no problem with just Jesus Christ! or God! even though they are technically the same context.

Honestly I wouldn't sing this song just because I don't like either but that's just me.

  • @sugarpandapaws08 Why is it any dirtier than any other word?

  • @Pilaf1984 I don't know...I guess, as a woman, the vagina is a foul awful place beyond compare and a word referring to it is vulgar lol.

  • @xdisturbed96x I understand where you are coming from, but if you think about it, God invented language and most likely gave Trey Parker and Matt Stone the idea for this musical. In fact, both Park and Stone have very close friends who are Mormon (according to Wikipedia, which we all know is truthful 100% of the time :P) and I would think they wouldn't want to offend their close friends.

  • YES!!!

  • I love this song

  • didn't everything make you feel guilty when your Christian

  • i love this but being a christian makes me feel guilty for liking it :/

  • @chipmunkmad08 Its satiric so its okay to laugh at it. ina way its actualy pointing a finger at organized religion so ur actualy laughing at ur self

  • @jumpmanajf I don't see it as being satirical. By the same grace that God gets thanked for all the supposed "good" he does, he should get plenty of "fuck you"s for being a petty, malevolent bastard.

  • @BroccoliDog Thats the message but anything that reflects real life for laughs is satirical. Its Trey Parker and Matt Stone thats all they do. They even reference The Lion King because its a satire of Musicals that are bouncy and catchy. Take whatever message you want but it is a satire.

  • @BroccoliDog Nice..

  • @chipmunkmad08 how do you think i feel?Im catholic so if my mother found out I was listening,I would be grounded right away.

  • @chipmunkmad08 Lol I totally understand. :P I'm a very devoted Catholic and I am making my Confirmation in about three weeks, but I LOVE this song, it's funny :D and catchy :)

  • I am just laughing my as off right now. Awesome!!!!

  • He sounds like Sebastian from The Little Mermaid..

  • @Whyhellotheresexy It's supposed to be like that. Every song in the Book of Morman references a showtune or famous broadway song. For example; 'You and me but mostly me' is a song made to sound like Defying Gravity. That's the people who made South Park for ya.

  • @Whyhellotheresexy Or The Lion King's Rafiki. I think that's what they were going for, but you're right, he does sound a LOT more like Sebastian!

  • @Whyhellotheresexy

ROFL! I was like...."Is that Rafiki?!" XD

  • I want to see this so much..

  • 3:35 - 3:53

    Now my new ring tone

  • hasa diga 77 people and they got raped by mtumbo.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAA WONDERFUL disposition. XD

  • HASA DIGA YOU ALL!

  • WOW! I heard some of the plays songs and an interview with the writers on NPR... They said this is the song that shows whether an audience member will love it or leave it... I love it, and I believe God loves it too... If you don't get it, that's okay too... Hasa diga!

  • Well, my grandmother died this morning... hasa diga eebowai!

    Happy New Year!

  • Mormonism is hysterical in its bizarre cult form.

  • See, when I started listening to these songs today, I expected nice, family friendly songs...Fail on my part

  • @linuslila Depends what kinda family you have. In my family, this would be acceptable listening for anyone over age 12. We don't mess around. You can keep that Disney garbage, growing children need a healthy dose of reality once in a while. And, with Trey Parker & Matt Stone's consistently thought-provoking material... we'd be doing our kids a serious disservice, if we kept this from them. But, yeah... pretty much.

  • Satchidananda!

  • I feel horrible, because this song's my favorite of the bunch.

  • 77 people dont have aids

  • Look I think everyone is missing the point regardless of whether god exists or not this musical is juvenile and uninspired. Mocking other peoples beliefs is not funny it's offensive and everyone regardless of what they believe should realize that. And before anyone starts saying shit I'm an 18 year old white atheist.

  • @quixoticcool this song isn't mocking mormon's beliefs. Also, what does being 18 and white have to do with it.

  • @eggertstwart If you truly believe that this song and the musical it comes from are not mocking peoples beliefs then you are supremely deluded

  • @quixoticcool I don't see how this song specifically mocks anyone's beliefs, though other songs from this musical like "I believe" and "all-american prophet" do. In what way does it?

  • @quixoticcool This isn't mocking the Mormons, this is actually what they believe. As a fellow atheist, you really disappoint me. You're giving us a bad name by associating with us.This musical is actually brilliant and has never been done before.

  • @Johnnybravo60025 Mocking someone and saying what they believe are not necessarily mutually exclusive and in fact mocking sommeone pretty much requires saying what they believe.

  • @Johnnybravo60025 Out of pure curiosity... if you're really an atheist, why do you identify yourself as an atheist? Surely, you understand... that every atheist has a different reason why he/she is an atheist, and his/her own understanding of what that means. There can be no camaraderie amongst atheists, under the pretense of atheism, that doesn't make sense. Isn't it about being an individual; and learning who you, and those imaginary friends in your subconscious, are?

  • @ChaseManhattan516 I grew up as a Christian for 14 years. During confirmation we visited all different places of worship and learned about other religions as well. I decided at that point that I believed more in science than what sounds more like a fairy tale to me. I really have no problem if someone is religious. Good for them for finding something that helps them get on in life. There are a few certain constant beliefs amongst us atheists that we all agree on though.

  • @Johnnybravo60025 I gotcha. I was raised methodist, confirmed, never went to church again. In high school, I was on a robotics team. I love science. When I was 10 I wanted to be an astronomer. At 12, I read a book called Zero: The Biography of a Dangerous Idea. After high school, an atheist, I discovered Alan Watts, a fantastically entertaining philosopher. I had an experience. Existence is emotional, science can't explain my feelings, voices in my imagination, my epilepsy. /watch?v=ulFXFVTpCsY

  • @Johnnybravo60025 You know, I actually think it IS a fairy tale. It has brilliant actors, who come on and off stage, giving thrilling, and emotional performances. Whatever "it" is, this existence has ups, and downs. Story structure... just like a wave. And, it all seems to follow a formula... it's a monomyth. Just like Star Wars, or LOTR.

Maybe, life is one big musical. And, you're acting so well... you don't even realize you're acting. What if you could break character? Who are you really?

  • @quixoticcool there is nothing mature about musicals, it's a form of entertainment - for maturity one can always listen to Wagner - lol - looks like even grand opera does not require Maturity

i've seen the show, it's FUN, and it does not mock anybody in particular, it mocks the believing in general - 'faith' required to accept the dogma, regularly something quirky and bizarre (in any religion!), something funny! - got it?

if you are so mature, why are you atheist and not agnostic?

  • @branko1b It does mock people in particular, all those who have religious beliefs. I am an atheist because I don't believe in having oh well I don't know as my position on the existence of god as far as I'm concerned until I can believe in god I don't believe in him and am thus an atheist.

  • @branko1b he's probably both. The literal definition of "agnostic" does not explain belief, only knowledge. Most that would identify as agnostic are atheist as well.

  • @eggertstwart you are right - the 2nd "believes" should have been "knows" - i still think it is a reasonable distinction regarding the "character allowance" here - made for 18 yo ... huhhh (blush)

i disagree with your assertion though, and with (for me, oversimplified) Dawkins') view on distinction in question; i think, that (Huxley's) distinction has its purposes, even if it results in "slitting hears" - in other words: i'm rather prone to accept Russell's "confused views"

  • @quixoticcool you see (this is all for your education), when you say "whether god exists or " you hop in you own mouth - an atheist (as you say you are) is certain in his/hers knowledge that it DOES NOT exist. he firmly believes in non-existence of any divinity

an agnostic believes there is NO Jo, Joseph, Mohammed, Jesus, Tammy, Benny,... who can perceive better then any other human being, esp. to tell us what (any exact) divinity's exact intentions are

lim. space, hope you get it

  • @branko1b I'm afraid that you have clearly been poorly educated an atheist is quite literally one without god just like a polytheist is one with many god and monotheist is one with one god. Thus I not currently believing in any god am an atheist

  • @quixoticcool i do not wish to argue with you, making that distinction between atheism and agnosticism was unnecessary and silly on my part - i apologise for that

regarding you statement that the show is immature and that mocks people beliefs: re maturity I have already addressed that

re mocking: yes it does mock people's religious beliefs - that's why it is funny - it is not the first time religious beliefs are mocked - i find 'Russell's teapot' very funny, hope you w ... cont.

  • @quixoticcool cont.. (pt.2)

...would not find BR immature - well before anybody would dare to mock them, people with beliefs tortured, burned or even mass murdered people with no (or with different) beliefs - org. religions are still very powerful - they still impoverish and, in some parts of world, murder people who merely differ; there are still wars to impose one 'belief' on..."ding-dong" is just a mild aspect of the same horrible principle of 'right faith' - why not mock it?!

  • @branko1b

    Hasa Diga Eebowai

  • @branko1b In those times and areas of the world religion was and is a sort of second government that just like the state provides protection and support to it's people in darker times and places those with the same religion are the only people you can trust as others have no moral compunctions against harming you so of course religious violence existed/exists a "holy" wars are no more contemptible than regular wars are often fought for similar reasons and are often just as justifiable

  • @quixoticcool I think it's juvenile to think they're merely mocking mormonism. It's constructive criticism. It clears the air, for a dialogue between people of all faiths. Just like we're doing right now. Sharing thoughts, ideas, & feelings. This is how we grow, and evolve. 4 years ago, I was an 18-year-old white atheist. But, something happened to me. I found my imaginary friend, forgotten since childhood. And, suddenly felt that I was walking around inside my own brain. We're the same being.

  • @ChaseManhattan516 You can't provide constructive criticism about someones religious beliefs that's just telling them that their idea of how to live a good life and have a good afterlife is wrong, you can't just tell a religious person they're wrong and they should change their beliefs and expect to have a civil conversation about it.

  • @quixoticcool It's a touchy subject, sure... but, you can't just avoid it altogether. We know that a lot of mormons have seen the musical. From what I hear, they mostly enjoyed it. Thus far, no one has tried to kill the creators, or bomb the theatre. A lot of people leave refreshed, perhaps... perhaps... a little enlightened, and happier about their faith. Where's the harm? The song "Turn It Off" confronts a major problem within these communities. If it really offends you... turn it off.

  • @quixoticcool Now, you say you're an 18-year-old atheist, so I know your opinion is going to be shit. But, before you call anything "uninspired," you have to realize... every idea has been done before. There are a hundred different Led Zeppelins... South Park steals from the Simpsons, Family Guy steals from South Park. Matt & Trey draw a lot of inspiration from Monty Python: /watch?v=fUspLVStPbk

An atheist at 18 is prematurely closed-minded. Inspiration? Imagination? Where does it come from?

  • All religion stems from primative people lacking knowledge in math and science attempting to explain the world around them. Why religion still lingers on today, baffles me. It's all a steaming pile of $hit.

  • FUCK YOU GOD ! RIGHT IN THE EYE ! BACK ON THE CUNT !

  • Attn Atheists and Theists:

Religion is a personal relationship with god, so shut the fuck up about your god, and keep it to yourself.

Similarly, no one gives a fuck you don't believe in (a) god, it doesn't give you bragging rights, brownie points, or penis size.

There, now everyone can shut up.

  • check out my channel for the full musical :) all parts will be uploaded soon

  • the perfect christmas song for any home!

  • So wrong, but so damn funny. I wanna see this musical so badly that it hurts.

  • Matt and trey are pure genius

  • i just got AIDS from a blowjob given because of this song! ...from a baby! hasa diga eebowai!

  • "somebody took our luggage away, the train was crowded and the bus was late" compared to " "people are dying in the streets"...

    -lol @ white people problems

  • A part of me feels like God has listened to this song, and he is laughing with everybody else.

  • @nightmareluver71559 what god? a divinity of some kind? whose divinity? it is extremely unlikely (to the point of utterly ridiculous) that any, some such, divine being would in fact exist, you know...:)

that is funny - the imaginary-friend's sense oh humour is not quite the point here

  • @branko1b I love how people can't simply comment about God without a douche bag deciding to say that He doesn't exist.

  • @dtowngirl109 you should not be seeking to your parents computer when they arew\ away - it is not not only immature and inane, but very ungodly (or rather, against one's dignity) to call someone you don't know "a douche bag"

your parents do not only neglect to secure their computer (of their children), but have neglected your upbringing too - otherwise you would not be barging into exchange between adults with ungodly comments

  • @branko1b I'm twenty. I'm an adult. Besides. You were definitely being a douche bag, asshole, whatever you want to call it. Don't act like you are high and mighty above me.

  • @dtowngirl109 ...cont. from your ambrose30

if you think it is arrogant to politely point out to a rude person that rudeness is childish

(in such a vocabulary, and imagination, "head wedged in a rectum") you either need to see a shrink or to confess

same for you, young ...- it is very unladylike to call people names, extremely (!!) unladylike!

i do hope you both take my 'arrogance' in the same humour, and Christmas spirit, as take your rudeness

i will not entertain any further obscenities

  • @branko1b Wow, that was arrogant. You should see a doctor about that entire your-own-head you have wedged so far up your rectum. That seems pretty brutally painful man. What else would cause a person to behave like that? I know not.

    Ya taint.

  • @ambrose30 what is happening here?! i merely replied to nightmareluver's post (with no antagonism) my point was not whether there is a god or not, but that religious people miss the true point of the show - which is that their faith (a mockery) is being mocked...

than, i have someone calling me a douche bag (now "asshole") - i didn't know such words are allowed on you tube?!) - now her parent, from who she has obviously only started to learn rudeness has joined in - if .. cont. at dtowngirl

  • Here's the butcher, he has AIDS

Here's the teacher, she has AIDS

Here's the doctor, he has AIDS

Here's my daughter, she has aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa..... wonderful disposition

  • When the US government's getting you down, there's nobody else to blame! (WAY-OH) Raise your middle finger to the sky and curse his rotten name! HASA DIGA EEBOWAI!

  • THE BOOK OF MORMON!... You'll get a blowjob...

  • if there is a 'god' I seriously hope he didn't laugh at this song: "people dying in the streets, dying of aids and sarvation". Those people have good reason to say Hasa Diga Eebowai as many times as possible!

  • Well this blows glee out of the fucking water

  • @eric2dea Blows Rent out of the fucking water too.

  • reminds me of the lion king

  • this reminds alot of hakuna matata :D

  • morman: excuse me sir but what does this phrase mean

guy:well eebowai means god, and hasa diga means fuck you, so it means fuck you god!!

    lol :D

  • the best part of this is when you actually see it in the theater and you see the two mormons backing away in horror

  • I'm a mormon and all, but this stuff is hilarious :3

  • hasa blowjob eblowjob

  • How has this had 75 dislikes hahah miserable fucks! :P

  • you shud hear the reprise sung by nabulungi in the actual show. its soooooo sad i got teary-eyed.

  • I think Mafala is Dr. Shocko from Grandma's Boy.

  • 75 people got his aids.

  • i'm proud of the fact there is no religious flame war down here

  • i want the lyrics sooo bad.

  • @KaiIsLegend why dont you try to follow the link at the top were it says lyrics ?

so try to want less and read more ;)

  • I'm Mormon and I found this absolutely hilarious!

  • 75 People can't take a joke. xD

  • 'Here's the butcher he has aids, Here's the teacher she has aids, Here's the doctor he has aids'. hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahaha

  • 74 people like godly butt-fucks.
