  • @irecoredpornos it's all together

  • thats not 470 gallons ur dumbass so ur telling me you could fit 470 milk jugs in there yea more like 120 not 470

  • Its pretty easy with them as I look for long extended fins in males. The will carry on and show bright colors versus the females which tend to grow larger. I have a smaller planted tank for my freshwater set up. I've been trying to breed bettas in smaller tanks. My 125g saltwater just spurred some ugly algae after 8 years. Come to find the new bulbs I changed were wrong spectrum. Beware of different manufactures bulbs. IT DOES MATTER. Busted my thumb up but will post vids soon.

  • @Deelove2000 thanks man i ll look for those differences. Breeding bettas? Sounds fun. Ya I've been hearing that about other bulbs. Its a problem I've encountered as well. I guess don't cut corners on bulbs. Thanks for letting me know its always nice hearing more proof. Ill check your channel out.

  • Like all of us aquarist we always experiment. Nice tanks. Any breeding in there? I bred convicts and dempseys but not the African Cichlids. With the heavy population keeping the fry was close to impossible.

  • @Deelove2000 yes that's the best part of the hobby. Well thanks man. Breeding? Oh heck ya. I do a lot of that. If you get a chance check my newest videos of my new fish room. I have moved and re set it up at my new place. I just posted an update on my fish room. I breed mainly african cichlids. I might have a breeding pair of dempseys which ill probably breed once and sell them all. What kind of signs do you look for in a male verse female on dempseys?

  • This is an impressive set up but why not use a larger central filtration tank for your system with a open trickle and build your distribution piping around that with floss media. I find that keeps the water clearer than the socks. I bet your water changes would be better served using that rubbermaid for the change reservoir. Nice tanks.

  • @Deelove2000 thank you very much. Well I have two 1600 gallon filters on this system with two uv lights built in. But yes I could build a sump like everybody else uses but I gain 170 gallons of space for more fish and a larger water capacity for my bio load. Water change out? Once a month and I over do it with a 100 gallon change out that is so simple with a garden hose straight out the garage door. As time goes by I started adding plants on an aquaponics setup leaving me with almost 0 nitrates.

  • @Deelove2000 I'm sure filter floss cleans my water better. I do have two 50 micron sock on the system which fills up in a 48 hour period. But for what I'm doing on this setup its just easier too have the room. Don't get me wrong I have experimented and built this system your talking about it just didn't work for me. Hey man thanks for the comment and the good job!!!!!

  • very impressive set up thanks for posting

  • @kevleisa thanks

  • where did you get those rocks with the holes. i cant find any good looking rocks for my tank. did you make them? if so what did you make them out of?

  • @geraldgustav the two big rocks are pumice. Which is not very dense but heavy and float in the tank. So I had to weigh them down with the lava rock. But yes all I did was drill holes it and than cut the whole rock in half with a hot saw so I could have two of them in my tank. Check near the rivers for nice rocks

  • Great tank decor.

  • @copperpaint thanks man

  • Be careful. Sump Pumps arent designed to run continuously. Ive learnd in past .

  • @utsuriman ya not fun at all. I think I'm on my fourth one. But I got to take each on back and get a new one. I think the trick is to never shut it off. But I had one run for over three years straight. I always have problems if I shut them off. But your right. I always have a back up one. There a lot cheaper but a headach in the end. I will soon convert the whole system over to a saltwater hottub pump there like 600 to 700 bucks tho. But I've yet to find a fish pump that powerfull enough

  • Awesome tanks man, I wanted to know how I could set some of the breeding tanks up and where I could get them from? been looking on the internet for about half hour now trying to find them! I want to get about 4 -6 ish and just start small and work up and out! Any help/advice you can give me or where to look for things? Would help very muc, thanks

  • @JmeJian90 thanks man. I would have to say the cheapest would be finding tanks on craigslist. That way you can get all the stuff to run them plus you sometimes youj score stuff for other tanks. But another way would be sponge filters and 10 gallon tanks at walmart. But I would try craigslist first. Most of the time you can sell half the shit you got and get the other for free if you find the right buyer

  • Are those boulders in the 125 real?...

  • Alsome Tanks keep it up!
